Well since I've already earned my associates. I was thinking about moving on to get my Bachelors in Criminal justice and something like Cartooning since I heard they have a degree for that. I was looking forward to a college under $ 30,000 and could be within my state or out of my state. I've been talking to SpicenSugar about this and she said the San Francisco Academy of Art University would be a good choice and the Pasadena Art College in the LA area would also be good. Besides I've never been to the West Coast and it'd be interesting to see life there (though my friends tell me not to go because they say they endorse diet pills and plastic surgery and the people are fake and made of plastic), but anyone know of a good affordable college to check into?

Out of state tuition = killer. It will hardly be worth it if you stayed in state. Out of state you're just asking to be smothered with debt

+100000000!!
You'll be paying out of your azz for out of state tuition.
Unless you or your parent's just have money to burn, you could end up in student loan debt and they will be taking that debt out of your social security check if you love long enough to collect one..LOL.
Reconsider abruptly!

Just want to clarify. Firstly, you asked about good art colleges on the west coast so I was responding to that question specifically. Secondly, I have no idea about the tuition. As I recall, I told you to look into the matter. Both of my suggestions are private art colleges with good reputations. Thirdly, because it's true that out-of-state tuition fees are usually substantially higher than in-state, if you DO choose to go out of state, there's no reason NOT to also look into private institutions simply because the costs won't be very different.

Ah okay. Thanks, I checked into both of them. Pasadena seemed more my style . But do you know of any private institutions I can look into? And speaking of out of state, how high are we talking about here?

Out of state fees for public universities can be as high as double or even triple the corresponding in-state fees. You'd have to go on the websites of schools of interest and look up the fees individually.

The two I told you about *ARE* private. Are you looking for other private colleges?

Are you more interested in Art or in Criminal Justice? The two fields are obviously substantially different and so your choices of schools would also be substantially different.
