How Often do you get pulled into other's drama?

There you are, sitting there, minding your own business. Doing your thing. Then Wham! Someone comes to you with all their drama about someone else. You listen, empathize. Thirty minutes later, then double Whammy! You're getting the opposing side's story.

These people seem to seek me out. Then, I'm uncomfortably caught in the middle. I empathize and understand both sides. No judgement. Of course, I have to read between the lines and figure out the truth is somewhere in the middle. Most of the time, I'd just rather not know about it. It is a much happier place to be in an oblivious state.

Sometimes I can just listen and that's good enough. Sometimes I have to be a voice of reason.
Then, I get told I'm wise and have good insight and pratical solutions and yes, they are much appreciative. (just wish I could follow my own advice! 🙂 )

Just curious - does this happen to you guys and how often? It happens to me constantly.

Yeah, fortunately I don't go through this either. I'll always listen to what's going on but u couldn't handle both people coming to me.

I think in general this is the one thing that Capricorns are not good at..empathy.

Most of the time when people tell you their problems, they arent necessarily looking for practical advice or a solution, they simply want to be understood and look for some kind of empathy from you. Capricorn usually cant interpret this and feels as if the other person just wants to burden him/her with problems.

This is something that I see happen ALL the time with Capricorns from all walks of life.

Depends on if I feel like hearing it or not.

I think they like that I can take the emotions out of it, look at the problem, find the root cause of the problem and offer up some realistic, pratical solutions. Plus, I never tell what I'm told. They trust me.
