I don't understand capricorn man

I start talking to a capricorn man which was nice. We haven't gone on a date yet. He was really a sweet guy but whats annoy me he say sweet things to me then back off. I'm really glad he is very honest with me. I just don't get his mood swing. I know I'm a cancer but I don't even have these type of mood swing, first you say nice things then later you getting second thoughts thats is so confusing to me. I told him you said "I'm different and you really like me but still you not taking a chance to give me a try. But you can say sweet things better off not saying anything at all to me if you going to hold back and have me waiting which I find that very cowardly." I did say some more, I been talking to him about these issue once I convince him I'm right then later again he back off again. Should I just move on cause I'm not use to these mood swings. I have dated some guys and none of them have these type of mood swings.

Do you honestly expect any man to be impressed with the likes of you if you call him cowardly? So if someone is not behaving the way that YOU think he should behave, that makes him a coward? Are you really that shallow?

The short answer is no. Male Caps take time to feel confident enough to ask a girl they like out. Most likely he will not make it official until you guys are well into a relationship. If you think he is worth it, don't turn yourself off yet. He says nice things to you because he wants you to like him, but he is afraid of suddenly coming in too strong. That's why he backs off. Cap males are afraid of rejection. Best thing to do is ride his capricious behavor until he finally makes up his mind to make it official. He is not a coward, but a cautious dude. Don't push him to make a move until he is ready.

Good luck cappy males are worth the wait. 😉

Beowulf, she isn't calling him a coward as so much venting her frustration of his lack of consistent interest. If your a cappy try explaining to her why he is behaving this way instead of taking offense.

I guess as a male capricorn i might be able to shed light. We don't move fast and take time to size people up. He's also not going to tell you about everything in his life, that's why caps seem to have big mood swings. 90% of the time it's about a problem unrelated to you - and we keep those things on a need to know basis. Trust me its for the best because we see problems and potential problems everywhere

Okay, its kinda funny cause I'm cancer i suppose to be emotional but I'm more logic, I used my head more then my emotion and I'm not very moody either. Most of the guys I dated were logic and very laid back I just couldn't understand the capricorn with his mood swing I never had to deal with it before. I thought at first he was a cancer.

i agree. Cancers should learn to think before they speak then maybe people wouldn't shit on them for being too emotional.

Keep him on the back burner while you focus on other things. As with any man, don't pressure them into saying or doing anything until they're ready. Be careful with how you word things. Although you didn't call him a coward directly, you indirectly implied that he was acting like one. Most men want to hear compliments.

You know something isn't right. Why should you have to question his behaviour. You already know it's 'odd'. Capricorn or not. Sure we look for reasons on boards like this to explain the possible 'why is he acting that way'. We latch onto a possible reason - and we continue on with things 'just in case' someone on here is right and you should try a different approach with him. Listen to what you already feel. Which is he is acting cowardly. Don't listen to anyone who says you are acting too emotionally. You are experiencing a red flag about his behaviour and I would'nt do yourself the dis-service of not listening to it.

Cancerians are emotional sure, but also highly intuitive.
