Understanding a Distant Capricorn Man

A Capricorn man often seeks independence and can become distant when overwhelmed or focused on goals. Giving him space can help restore communication. Patience and understanding are key to reconnecting when he's ready to engage again.

My Capricorn friend has disappeared again.I texted him last Monday and just told him that it was getting old and I havent contacted him since then, and dont plan on it. He hasnt contacted me either. I dont have time for it. I'm just not quite sure how I am going to handle him when he does call.

No argument. We've been friends only since November..and he periodically does this. I never say anything about it though when he does come back. He doesnt live in the same state thoough. Last time I seen him..I did tell him about something that bothered me, and he told me that "It wouldnt happen agin, and all I had to do was say something". He seemed cool when he left and I talked to him a couple times after he left...then he disappears. The LAST time I heard from him was when I tried to get more clarification of his occupation...which I find kinda sketchy. Maybe he felt like I was prying or something. Now without me going in to specifics. HE DID tell me what he does for a living, but I know there is more to it. ANYWAYS, that is the last communication I had with him.

If you were going to cut him off, why answer him if he does call?

He won't like the games. Rest assure

I didnt say I was going to cut him off. But I'm not going to CONTACT him anymore. That is what I meant.

Why do you want to be his friend? He is showing clear signs of being emotionally detached and unavailable and most likely wouldn't be a good friend or boyfriend to you or any woman. I wouldn't waste time and I wouldn't allow him to ease right back in when he comes back.

I'm just starting to see this CLEARLY. That is why I am contemplating if I'm going to be honest or just disappear like him. I never said anything before because from the boards it was "normal" for Capricorn men to do this. So I was giving him a pass and not taking it personal. Now that I am starting to like him, I cant help but to take it personal. I dont chase at this point in my life. I'll give a little but if its not reciprocated, I step off.

Thanks...I dont want to be rude. Thats why I contemplated not answering. More then likely when he calls he will be in town and want to see me. Thats how it usually works. And then he goes on and on about how he missed me. Maybe I will answer and see him and when he starts the missing me speech I'll ask him if he missed me so much how come I hadn't heard from him.
