I decided to post this after I did some thinking on a comment a cousin of mine made stating I was boring.

I wanted to post this just because.

I have read many posts declaring Caps as boring and I never understood this. With so much Capricorn in my chart I came to the realization that my relationships with Capricorns is partly due to my boring/reserved nature, as I have repeatedly denied this in my mind, but in actuality, it's true.

I never considered a boring person in a negative way. I always looked at it as someone who is naturally born that way or prefers being in a controlled environment. I never gravitated towards outgoing, loud, unconventional people. Never. More the other way around. I felt like those people equated chaos and disorder, where as my Cap/earth sign friends were reserved and controlled, knew what to say and when to say it.

I now know why my relationship with Caps are so harmonious. My ex-best friend (mutual ending, no hard feelings lol) of 6 years was a January 14 Capricorn(Virgo Moon) and it worked out so well from the moment we spoke because we never smothered eachother. The irony of our relationship is that although best friends are viewed as never being separate and constantly communicating, our relationship was the exact opposite, even though we had the tightest bond. We gave eachother a large amount of space and spent our time at home or at school. Phone communication was almost rare. It might seem strange to others, come to think of it, but it was comfortable to both of us because it was a mutual, subconscious understanding.

Another ironic situation (getting off topic) that is always in the back of mind is that at the time that we met, she had another best friend who was one of the most loud and obnoxious people you'll ever meet (I believe she was a Gemini), and guess what she did? She pushed her to side and made room for me in a matter of days(in once incident she verbalized this, and I never forgot it). I was the most timid, passive, non confrontational person at the time and she wanted me at her side.

Back to the topic. Yes, I'm boring and require space and solitary confinement most of the time. I'm starting to believe that the Caps I encounter bring me along because they may subconsciously think I won't smother them since my behaviors mirror theirs.

I would much rather spend time with a boring Cap than an outgoing Gemini (or fire sign).

Gosh, I wrote so much, but I needed to let that out.

Capricorns are not boring people. In fact, my Capricorn friends (both male and female) have been the signs that I've had THE most fun with be it spontaneously going out or taking a trip. Granted, I think that if I ever wanted to have a chill night at home or just relax, they are totally down for that. Sure, they're not the center of attention when out in a social setting but they are always the ones you can depend on for having some good fun when out and about or just hanging at home.

I think the whole not imposing yourself on them could work either way. To me, caps are super easygoing. The ones I know have always wanted that prodding to do stuff or to get them out of their shell, but then again, those are probably the cap types that have gravitated towards me or their other friends that share fiery/air type qualities.

There's too much generalizing going on in this post... then again there's generalizations all through this site.

I'm a Gemini, and I'm not outgoing. I'm actually pretty reserved and quiet when meeting new people, and even when I'm with my friends. I crack a joke here and there, but I'm mostly listening and laughing. My closest female friends are both Aquarians and one is equally as introverted as I am, and the other is far more outgoing. I'm sitting beside a Gem right now who doesn't speak unless spoken to.

I think its also unfair to consider Caps 'boring'. Even if you think you're boring, I think you misunderstand your personality. Just because you're reserved and quiet doesn't make you boring. I think quiet people are the most interesting because I want to know what the hell they're thinking. I have THE most fun with my Cap male. He has some of the most dry humor I've ever heard, and he'll always have me cracking up. His facial expressions are just icing on the cake. I think Aquarians are an easy loving sign. I've never had a problem with em. Take that as your attractiveness, and not being 'boring'. You're much more than that, I'm sure!
