I hate being the "counselor" - there is a certain individual where I work that comes to me for advice on his marriage (while hitting on me at the same time). I do my best, I take on a parental role easily, so it's not a far reach. He and his wife are both Caps 🙂 or 😢 lol In any case, they have had a few years of strife. I believe it is because of their child having a debilitating disease. I think it's MS. When we first met his son was still walking, he is now in an electric wheelchair and they have purchased a new house, had it retrofitted as well as a new van (retrofitted). I understand his struggle, but he feels all is going to hell with his wife and he's at his wits end - can't do it (with her, not the son) any longer is what he is expressing.

I'm not that good with charts, although theirs seems highly compatible to me. What do you all with knowledge see in this pairing? I personally think that they should be on the same page. (Note: time of birth I set as noon for both as he doesn't know the time - although 3 yrs dif)

People come to me a lot with their problems, too. I try my best to help, but it does get old being caught in the middle all the time. There are some things I'd just rather not know! Guess a cap is the next best thing to Dr. Phil (who happens to be a virgo)! lol!!!

He sounds like my friend, and 2-3 of my mothers Cap exes. They ALWAYS complain about their wives. And look at him hitting on you smh, typical.

Inana, I wouldn't call it complaining, it definitely does NOT come off as complaining but being able to express his feelings to someone, it really is just needing to vent and get a 3rd persons perspective who's not going to take sides. I've known him for 6 years now. He talks about his kids a lot, the struggles with his son and that he knows he is going to lose him in the next few years, so it's not all about the wife. He's teared up numerous times about the whole situation and really does just want things back to the way they used to be with the wife. He knows I would never advocate him leaving his wife, which may be why he comes and talks to me, I'm not going to suggest that he give up. I was clear that he needs to put some work into it to turn things around and I gave him numerous suggestions.

In looking at their charts, where I would think that they would mesh nicely, maybe they are too much a like in many ways and that is creating a conflict?

So, for the chart advice, where are the strong points in this paring and what appears to be obstacles?
