I'm a 45 year old Virgo, dating a 52 year old Cappy gal. My last relationship was with a 60 year old Cancer Gal (ten years together). I know a little about cappys in general. My little bro is a Cappy. One of my best friends is a Cappy... I just started dating this Cappy gal. She's hot, and sweet. We have a lot in common... only thing I fear so far is her work ethic... she works 6 days a week! I fear she will never be able to slow down. Any advise would be appreciated. = )

oooh cap. dont think he was trying to be nice as much as he was just being honest.

dont know if i have any worthy advice on how you can get her to slow down, Ferg. but i'll give what i can. Being a cap myself (albeit a younger one), if im gonna do something, very very few will get in my way especially when it comes to work. sometimes, its just a non issue. However!... i will say that i make time for the man in my life and no other will get in the way of that either (ehem, unless its the man). Caps tend to be reasonable and understanding. We also reeeeaally appreciate it when people are straight forward (im pretty sure i can speak for all on that one)... simply ask. She'll probably know where the request is coming from. Let her know anyways, expression might even open her up to the idea as well. You're essentially asking to spend more time with her... what woman isnt going to appreciate that.

Heya Cap... ya she is hot at 52... what, do you think people stop being hot when they get "old"? LOL. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so the old saying goes.

CP, she's already told me that "work comes above all else". I think I can deal with that for the time being. She says that she plans on retiring in 2 - 3 years... sounds good, but I think she'd go stir crazy in a couple weeks, LOL... I just hope that she might go for a part time job then at most... Do Cappys usually go full steam till they drop dead? I know my little bro takes time for his family and we've hung out and flown out to see distant family a few times... so hope that's the norm instead of the exception, heh.

Pato... ya mutual projects would be fine. I appreciate the Cappy work ethic... I hate working alone... it's that Virgo perfectionism... bogs me down and I end up getting nowhere fast. I finally had to accept that I cannot work solo for long.

Eliza... ya, age never mattered to me a whole lot. What has always mattered has been mutual interests. If you like doing the same things... age is meaningless... well... mostly, LOL.

Currently we're chatting thru emails about sex... and I've been pretty blunt about how I am and what I do... but now am feeling nervous (that Virgo nervousness) that I may have been too blunt... /wimper. I hear Cappys appreciate bluntness... I hope thats the norm.

Cappies never drop dead :p but we do stop to rejuv after a few days, grab a snack and sit for a few minutes, catch our second wind, and then back at it. and im only slightly kidding here.

astrology says that caps are devoted to family. personally, i abso-fricken-lutely make time for my family. my siblings happen to be my closest friends. i love hanging out with them. all the other caps i've known, which arent too many, have been the same way.
