How did he propose to you? I'm dating one now and though I don't expect him to do it, I can always dream 🙂 I just want to know if it was casual or extravagant. As much detail as you are willing to share.
My Cappie friend just proposed to his Aries girlfriend about a week or two ago. He first complained about the amount on the ring she wanted, then proposed in front of her mom because "Her mom like stuff like that" in his words lol. I forgot about it so I asked a few days later "did you propose to your girl?" and his normal tone "yeah, I did." I was like well you don't sound too excited lol.
But in a nutshell, it is just "the thing to do" or "the next step" for many Cap men. Don't expect too much.
I was married to a Cappy. We had talked about marriage but I was completely surprised when he proposed. We were out window shopping and just enjoying the day & weather. He took me to a little quaint gelato shop and we sat by the windows, that had the prettiest flower arrangements. So there we were, enjoying gelato and each others company. We were laughing and all of a sudden he took my hands and asked me to marry him. He took out the ring and I was completely shocked! I said yes immediately.
I just remember it was the perfect day. The sun was shining, the breeze was warm, not a cloud in the sky, the flowers in the gelato shop were cute, the gelato was delish LOL and my boyfriend was funny and he proposed! I was in heaven 🙂
One thing that did strike me as odd though was his choice of ring. He didnt buy me a typical diamond ring. He bought me a ring with 3 light amethysts. It was Different. I loved it anyway 🙂
Awww...the gelato thing is cute! But in general I get the gist, not big or flashy, not many people. Low key and when they feel they are ready to, as ellessque put it, check it off their to do list. Thank you all though, I appreciate it and if you have any more stories to share with me, I'd love to hear them.
