You see a coworker (chick friend) look up horoscopes for her sun sign, ask her birth date with exact time, then tell her to look up horoscopes based on her rising sign.

naw i knew you were joking. For me, even if i'm joking if i dont know you very well, i feel bad. But, for example, with my husband, we joke all the time together and it gets down right mean. Deep down we understand that about eachother.

For strangers and just even your neighbors next door, even if you have tea and coffee with them every so often and trust them, because they're good people, you'd have a hard time to make jokes cause they dont know you personally. Plus they don't have the SAME humour as you. Know what I mean? We don't even do this to our mothers and fathers, because they are just different types of people and we are close to them. You know? Even your sister's and brothers have a kind of different relationship.

Dxp helps too, temporarily from the stress/pain of what's going on with my father in law.
Sometimes, it's just hobby though. Though, i can never see myself going up to my Neighbors, and asking, I'm on a research mission to know signs/placements, what's your spouses and yours? I'm guessing they had to do that with Marriage statistics astrology.
