Mars and Venus Both in Aries and Charisma

So this older lady I know did my chart for me, and she said because I have Mars and Venus in Aries it makes me an "It" girl, she said she knew there was something like that in my chart when she met me, she said "I knew you had star quality, there's something about you."

I have been on stage for most of my life in some capacity, and I've even been able to lead followings of people on Internet forums by entertaining them and shocking them.

Another thing, too, is that men always tell me if they've seen my photographs first, that I look better in person than I do in pictures, not that my pictures are ugly, but they don't do *me* justice, and I wonder how much of that is related to my presence, body language, sex appeal, and charisma.

F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife Zelda Fitzgerald, was apparently a similar sort of person. You look at her old photos and are like "yeah she's okay, she looks pretty there, that's kind of cute but overall she's not exactly a supermodel" but I've read so many biographies on her, and people went on and on about how engaging and irresistible she was in person, and it did not translate well into photographs.

Wow, does any of this sound arrogant? I'm not meaning for it to, because I looked up the definition of It girl and it means someone who has is strongly attractive, but it isn't necessarily about being the most beautiful or most clever or nicest...it's that something something je ne sais quois.

So my friend told me this is because my Mars and Venus are both in Aries, and this gives me a kind of power, socially and sexually.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

I can understand the Mars in Aries(it's the ruler afterall), but astrologically speaking Venus in Aries is in detriment because Venus rules Libra and Aries is it's opposite sign. Though Detriment usually doesn't mean much in western astrology. What are your venus aspects? Aspects can change everything.

I think my Mars and Venus are aligned at the same degree in Aries, I remember her saying something like that, saying that was specifically what made it so exceptional. I can ask her again, but yes of course Mars in Aries would be powerful.

So does that mean Mars and Venus are conjunct? If so, that makes sense because Mars and Venus are basically will/drive/sex and love; Mars and Venus were lovers.


The astrologer friend I have is a Gemini, so I know it's not like she's impressed with my Gemini wit or something, though she says she feels a kinship with me because of it. She used to be a burlesque performer back in the 60's and 70's so she said "I know what I'm talking about, I've been in show business."

I just thought it was interesting, I wondered if anyone else knew about this.

She said the downside is that it can make me willful and demanding, and it's why I have such a quick temper, but that overall it's something alluring to others, especially of the opposite sex.

Sorry I couldn't find the thread and then I couldn't remember your user name -_-. I get lost even on a website. Your Venus and Mars don't have any major aspects(cafe astrology doesn't do minor ones), so I'm not sure what she was referring to. Plus this says your Venus is in Sagittarius and your mars is In Virgo. Perhaps your chart was read wrong? Or we're missing something.

My Mars and Venus are both in Aries and I've known this since high school; she found that my Mars and Venus are conjunct at like 28 degrees, and it does say that on the written part I posted, so I'm not sure why the visual map indicates something differently to you.
