Are horses and Rats Compatible?

I'm a horse, and I believe we're astro enemies. To my knowledge, I have never had a serious problem with Rats.

My friend is a Horse and her GF is a Rat. They seem to have no problem to live together. I am not specialized in telling Chinese Zodiac.
