dreams about the same guy -

I have had reoccuring dreams from time to time of the same person throughout the last year. I hardly ever dream of people in real life so it's weird to me that this person who I barely know have such an impact on my dreams.

What gets me is that every time water has been the main element or symbol in the dreams where he occurs.

Its started on a river in a rafting boat, then it was sunlight and beautiful forest surrounding the brightly colored river. Then the other dreams were at night or evening with darker sea and some waves. Like on the sea on a fishing boat, on a speedboat where he "saved" me from the person I was dating at the time who was also present waiting at the docks while we went speedboating, and other dreams on a surfboard or water scooter. Now last night a ferry. I know that the presentation of the water is key. Like if it's calm or stormy, dark etc.
The dreams in the beginnings had alot of waves and it was nighttime so the water was darker blue, but never uncomfortable like other water dreams I had in the past, where the water itself always scared me alot.
None of the dreams with him in it has the water been frightening.
The last dream it was day and calm sea. And we went off the ferry boat to a beautiful sunset island with old houses and I found very long strands of hisbiscus garlands on the grounds which I collected and dragged with me. The three strands were 1 with pure pink flowers, 1 white and the last orange which made me sad because I remembered my late stepmother. We stood on a hill just watching the sunset while I decorated us in the pink and white flower garlands. When I woke up this morning I had gotten a text from him..first in months. Weird?
What does the constant water and this person have to do with me and my subcontious?

The water has been mainly calm or just the waves that he'd make on the speedboat etc. I hardly ever dream about people I know in reality. And normally if I dream about water I usually get freaked, scared or eerie and dead scared to touch it. These dreams with him the water was just a natural occuring element and did not cause me any discomfort. Btw, this person has suddenly emerged strongly in real life, and I get a overwhelming feeling of unconditional acceptance/love towards him, like I feel at peace or relief somehow after we've spoken. Might be a past life connection. Btw, this is not a guy I would normally give the light of day, although very similar in mind :p First time I looked in his eyes I got startled, the deja vu kind. So maybe, like you said, he has a developmental task or influence on me 🙂

Oh,,, I had the similar dreams and each time there is so much romantic feelings inside these dreams.. I`m afraid that can be caused be the lack of romantic feelings in reals life.. Also, I think that it`s the aspiration to make anything better in your relationships..such dreams I call love inside you. As you don`t have those who you love but your subconscious claim to have them - you`ll get such results) self-sufficient people will find their love independently of the external factors..🙂
