dreamt of vast ocean water, flying and sharks
Well, here are some thoughts to ponder,
a)flying in a dream is often a feeling of being out of control.
b) particularly when, you had no sensation of learning to fly, nor choosing to fly, nor even choosing a destination.
c)therefore it is probable, that you were not so much flying but being blown aloft, carried up and away to an unknown place.
d)you are flying over known ground that somehow changed and is fraught with peril. or perhaps it alaways was filled with sharks but you could not see them from your earthly perspective.
Have you been thinking on who you will end up with, a lot lately? Often we have no control over this thing called love. We do not really choose who we will fall for only who we think we could fall for.
Also love is very much like being swept aloft, you are flying but certainly not on your own power, and neither are we sure of where it will take us.
You are flying over a place you often dream about. The ocean here as a prominent part of your idyllic future vision, gets compressed via the brains shorthand into that which you are seeking, in this case love.
The sharks of course are the cads you are sure that are waiting to eat you up and destroy you and so you are afraid to land.
My assessment is that you were dreaming of your future relationship, and the uncertainty of finding true love and therefore fulfilling your life dream. These are things that you have been thinking on, yes?
