Seeing someone familiar in dream

I took a nap earlier and had a dream earlier that I was going to have dinner with a guy from the past.

I remember holding hands and as we approached the table somehow I remember I knew someone else was going to be joining us. I think he may have text this person.

Anyway as we get to the table i see a guy. I want to say that right away in the dream i feel like I knew the guy, like I've met him before but I don't know if in real life or in the dream. It's weird usually if I see someone new in a dream I don't feel like we've met.

The kicker is that I also remember thinking or remembering that he is gay. So he can't really be a love interest? And he's not my type at all. He was like Asian looking and small. Like from Singapore or something.

Has this happened to anyone?? I woke up right as we were sitting down so i missed the good part of course!

Wow that's strange. Well thanks for sharing that at least.
And didnt mean anything bad about the description of the guy, it's just very out of the norm. Just a side note.
I usually have the strangest dreams during naps.
I think as I was sitting down I was going to say something like "we've met before" but I woke up right away. I can't picture him now though, very vaguely.
