Self Surgery?

In my dream the side of my torso was open. About 3 inches at first on my left side. It kept expanding an inch or so every time I looked. There were 'pieces' kind of hanging out. Looked like tripe but more tubular. Sticking out. I pushed a few pieces back in because, well, shouldn't you? Then I held the flaps of open skin closed and thought, "I should get this stitched up." Looked around for my sewing kit and then I woke up.

The dilemma of my situation stayed with me for far too long after I woke up. Realized first I should go to a hospital then had to touch my side to confirm; yes, it had all been a dream.
