I think you are stupid! I HAVE tried to get my mother (who was recently widowed in November) to stop calling so early, so much, or to intrude by purposely calling to interfere with my life with my husband and my nine children. My mom is like a nightmare! But I do love her. Despite all of her faults. I cannot though stand it when she gets my husband all frustrated because she calls to get him going on a tangent. She does this for fun. She plays the pity act that she is lonely. I moved 100 miles away to stop all the family games five years ago. She expects me to run to her house and help her clean it! I don't think that the wife in the story I just read has any problems except she doesn't want to hurt her mom or her husband and it isn't fair for either of them to put her in the middle of their boxing match.
