Detachment, physical, emotional and intellectual is the keyword here. Intellectual detachment is I believe the toughest of all and one could not even see it by clinging on to one particular school of thought. Getting rid of indoctrination would take the most time than getting rid of your emotional attachment to your personal favorite music system. It does not even stop there, the thing what I talk here cannot be seen nor quantified substantially, what does intellectual detachment really mean? I also feel like adding that being neutral towards any dogma, is a dogma in itself. This makes things more abstract and paradoxical. But why do we need intellectual detachment, why should one not even connect with his own reason? But would one not like to see everything without any prejudice or without being a devout person or being a nihilist or as an atheistic existentialist or as a rationalistic naturalist or any other ‘ist. The answer I tend to reach is watching like a kid, with a natural curiosity to know more.
