i was sitting here thinking about some article i read about ppl who have younger looking skin have a certain skin type. well, being that we are a youthful sign, i was wondering if there's any corilation(sp?) between the science and astrology. the article stated that ppl with younger looking skin have an oily skin type. i do have oily skin and i do look at least ten years younger than my age... so, i'm wondering, what skin type do you have? oily, dry, or a mix of the two? also, how many years younger do you look? :]

All Gems I know look young--with the exception of one girl. She clearly must have spent quite a bit of time in the sun. She's wrinkly and looks every bit of her 52 years. She thinks she doesn't look her age and she's right--she looks wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy older!

GLV I understand your posts better now that you've revealed your age. I was confused at first but now see you're just really young! Still wishing you the best in getting rid of that Virgo.

Despite being 48, I often am told that I look in my early 30's. I don't know if it's being a Gem or something else. I would tend to believe it's genetic as well as how you take care of yourself.

I workout and try to eat healthy....i take a number of supplements, mostly anti oxidents. I use Virgin Coconut Oil on my face and skin. It does wonders for the body. Also eat a TSPN daily. The fat inside Coconut Oil is amazing for your body.

Sleep is vital too. I take a melatonin at night. About the only thing that turns down my brain enough so I can get into REM sleep. Your body detoxifies between 11pm and 2am. So going to bed later than 11pm takes it's toll and in time, it will show.

My mother ate more fruits and veges than anyone I knew. Yet, she died from breast cancer. My father is an alcoholic and has been one since I was about 11. That's 37 years of my lifetime. But by the grace of God, he is still living and is now 85. Logically it makes zero sense that he is living and my mother is not.

Being adopted, I also can see tendencies that differ greatly from my brother (who is also adopted). While I haven't aged as much, he is really showing his age (52). If I had to make a guess, I'd say it's mostly genetics. I also did some research on my blood type (B neg.). which only 6% of the population. It seems people with Rh NEG. factor age well and apparently fight infections better. I don't know how much scientific research goes into this, just interesting imho. Considering the majority of the world's population is Rh POSITIVE and is linked to the Reeses Monkey, but Rh NEG has no links to any previous sourch, kind of makes you go "Hmmmmmm?"

I have an oily skin type. I am 37, but people always tell me I look like I am in my early 20's. I have a 13 year old and I sometimes get mistaken for her older sister. Honest truth. I agree with gemini64. I think it is part genetics and part how you take care of yourself. I rarely drink, don't smoke, and exercise regularly. I just became a vegetarian a month ago, but before that I use to eat a lot of meat and junk food. But the women in my family have good genes. We get very little grey hair very late in life, we barely have any wrinkles even when we get up in age. Overall, we tend to age well. That is really interesting about the Rh NEG factor. I have the Rh NEG factor, but I had never heard that before.

I am B neg too. I knew the blood type was rare, but I didn't know it was that rare!

My skin isn't dry and it also isn't oily. The minimum I get is "10 years younger", but it's usually more. Once I got carded for a lottery ticket (you have to be 16 to buy them) when I was over 30. My husband is 12 years younger, and people usually think he's older than I am!

I know Gems usually look young, but it also runs in my family. All of the women look way younger than we are, and our signs vary: Libra, Aries, Gemini, Sagg. Cheekbones might help: all of us have high ones.

I agree that it also has to do with the way Gems behave and dress. I dress like someone in her twenties, and pull it off just fine. My mannerisms, and my way of speaking and moving are also youthful. I also think there's a certain youthful look in the eyes of Gems, too.

thanks, everyone for your responses!! 🙂
it also runs in my family on my mom's side.... she is a leo and is in her early 60's, but looks in her 40's. her father, a cancer, is in his late 80's and looks like he's in his 60's. the other day while buying a movie... i got carded!! lol! also, on my father's side, we have the high cheek bones. i guess i got the best of both sides... lol! i'm also always mistaken for my oldest daughter's older sister. she is a leo and looks younger, as well. 🙂
