Gemini testing a libra tricky tricky..who'smarter

Hey guys,ok.been dating my Gemini for 2 years.everything is going great .he lives 2 hours away ,but we see each other every week,and talk and text everyday.I love him very much.so I was in Vegas for Halloween.I let him know that I was going to be in a club dancing with my cusin,and that I'd call him later.he sent me a picture of his costume and so did I.a few hours into the night I receive a random text from an unknown phone number.it said " this is my friends number" I immediately blamed my cusin,thinking she gave my number to some creep she was talking to,she's single ,and ready to mingle,meanwhile I was on my best behavior . We aurged and she denied it.when I got home a few days later,I asked him if he sent it,and he said ..."oh yeah,well my phone was dying,so I texted you from a friends number" keep in mind I told him I would call him later after the night was over,I brushed it off and said ok,well I thought it was my cuisine.whatevs.my question is...was this a test— Was he being insecure.? Trying to catch me or something ? Tricky tricky!!!! You geminis are soooooo smart !! If it was a test,I think I passed with flying colors,since I didn't reply,and earased the number,please let me know !!! Thanks guys

I disagree , because this isn't his natural behavior , usually if his phone died he just wouldn't do this..which makes me wonder .and if your going to let someone know that you are giving them an alternate phone number..you would identify yourself! It's too strange,but you could be right,my instincts tell me different.it's just his excuse is so logical he has everyone fooled on the true intention!

It sounds like he was part testing you (you are in vegas clubbing w/o him after all) and in part letting u know his phone died. His degree of inebriation may have led to this miniscule test and/or anonymousy 😛

my Gem (ok, we all know he isn't mine but you know what I mean) used to use his buddy's phone because his cell company got lousy reception in certain places. I would get a message saying "ring me on this number", you know it's him coz he's your Gem and they love communication devices. oops I said the L word. Sorry.

He just wanted to touch base with you - let you know he was thinking about you. That's a good thing. he cares.

We don't test. We mind treetrunk (in specific circumstances, none of which are present in your situation), so he's not testing you.

We're too busy trying not to bang into crap and being distracted by shiny object 45974379479878978 to have the presence of mind to test. That's first. Second, two years in, and he starts testing? Come again.

Maybe you feel guilty about his having to test because you went partying without him (and being a Libra thinking about what he thought about that, etc.) and you're playing mind tricks on yourself unconsciously? Now, THAT I can attest to, as can any S.O. of a Gem. After a certain period of time, you think you are/actually do start to lose your mind 🙂

Relax. It's all good. He's a good guy from the sounds of it.

I'd go with this. It seems pretty legit to me. He probably wasn't thinking and just forgot to tell you it was him.
