First, Happy birthday! 🙂
Now, I wouldn't expect ANYTHING from my ex. Period. The aqua on the other hand... Don't expect anything, and you will never be disappointed. They are not into formalities. Not on a normal basis. They will surprise you when you least expect it! And, they aren't normally into traditions. They like to break all the rules and celebrate in their own way. If he doesn't then just simply tell him it offends you when he doesn't recognize important dates. Now, if he tells you he's not that kinda guy, then you either accept it or you don't. But, it's a petty thing not to remember dates and that's just a guy thing, rather than an aqua thing.... Hope that helps. 🙂

Lol. Is that my twin coming out?! Yikes. But for sure it will still be the aqua! Aqua and I have soul connection! The virgo is an ex after all! Possibly why I got more surprised with his effort. And then realized what my aqua really is!
I must have realized it a bit later but the aqua makes me feel special everyday. Not just on my birthday. He tells me how beautiful I am. He is honest to me. He did wake up early to be the first one to greet me. Little things I have overlooked... 🙂 a b irthday greeting can't say it all. My virgo ex was an ex because I didn't feel as special as how I am feeling now. Maybe he is making an effort on my birthday because my birthday with him wasn't that special after all and he realized it. Maybe he made an effort because he knows he lost me over an aqua who effortlessly makes me happy on a daily basis with all the simple things he brings to my life.

Thank you misslissa! 🙂 I wasn't expecting anything from my ex which caused all the surprise. And yes, the aqua does surprise me in a good way. Like out of nowhere, he would tell me I'm beautiful. In the middle of the afternoon he would message me in the office and tell me he was thinking about me. He found a house where we can live together... The aqua is a wonderful man indeed. He makes me happy--effortlessly because he is exactly what I want. He's my soulmate. 🙂

Well, first, aqua greeted me at 5AM and he was the first one... So I was impressed. However, he just greeted me and sent me cutesy pictures. Now, I was surprised as my virgo ex pretended not to remember my birthday and got me so annoyed... Only to find out that he had actually planned to send me an e-card for my birthday. So I got the e-card he made and I was impressed at the effort although it was a very simple one. He was my ex so I wasn't expecting as much effort. Actually, I was expecting just a "happy birthday!" Which, I unfortunately got from my aqua. I do know aquas are detached beings like gems. I've got no problems with that... But I was surprised at the way things turned out. Now I wonder if me and the aqua are getting too comfortable that we don't feel the need for romance or if it's just normal. I mean, not really a big deal... It was just my birthday. I have it every year. Just wondering and wanted to know what to expect or not to expect from an aqua lad.
