i have a curious generalized question...

what's your personal experience with communicating, as in do you state things in factualities and admit it if you don't know or do you state with the disclaimer what you think, 'but don't quote' type of thing.... or do you just make things up for the sake of being embarrassed of not knowing everything? me, i am factual and if i don't know, most times i'll tell you i don't know. other times, i'll state it's what i think, but i will tell you, "i could be wrong". i have noticed all the traits in the gems i know irl and i am curious if others have as well?

I do that! I say "I dunno" or "I think" or "in my opinion" haha. I mean, I honestly do not know everything! I don't like to make up stuff when I don't know something because it might backfire at me sooner or later and that's trouble. Wahahahah. Although I think most gems can definitely talk themselves out of the situation if that happens. 🙂

I confirm info/facts with the mobile google and I always bet a friend if they challenge me and I know I'm right. I used to have to read rules/regs all day for my job. People hate when they are wrong so pretending that you stumbled on this information that they already knew is so entertaining to me...hint wink nudge

If I'm sure I know, I just put it out there as if it's a fact. If I'm not sure I know, I say, "I think...". If I don't know something I'm supposed to be in a position to know (and the other person doesn't know, either), then I might b.s. If I'm proven wrong, I have zero problem accepting it (it's an opportunity to learn, and that's more important than always being right).
