I'm joining the U.S.A.F

And my family doesn't know. They are against it. Still, I'm joining this month. I'm pretty stressed cuzy mom is pushing me to make a decision on school and I can't tell her I'm not going anymore....

Good choice the Air Force. I made it a career (27 yrs) and it was great for me. Oh and don't listen to some of these people. Folks in the military don't make it a habit to go around raping. Just a few miscreants just as you have in the civilian world.


My son is in now and he plans to do just 4 years. He'll get out and go back to school. Nice.

Your ranting is irrational and is not germane to the convo. However to humor you, no, I'm not even near 60, your small mind tried to calculate my age by my military years; try again! Lol! Typical Cancer.

shucks. i say go for it. i think you'll be glad you joined. thats if you join that is. i mean just think of all the benifits you'll get. and if you serve a whole 20 years, you got it made. you can just kick back unwind and let all that doe roll in and don't have to lift a finger. plus they take care of all your insurance. free hospital visits and treatments, life insurance and the likes.

i myself is an airforce veteran but i only served 6 years with them. to this day i regret not serving 20 years 😢. if i was 10 years younger and 20 years active, i'd go back and stay 20 years.

My uncle (a gem) was in the Air Force and he loved it for the most part. Every Christmas there were tons of pictures he'd show us all on slides.... I have never seen so many different planes/jets in my life and I found it quite fascinating! 🙂

I say, if this is what your heart desires... Then do it! Congrats! And I hope you stay safe!! 🙂
