Hi all,
I've been seeing a Gemini about once a week since Feb. He has "forbidden" me to date any other men -- says we're finished if I do, and he gets very jealous and inquisitorial when I tell him about the occasional men who flirt with me. On the other hand, I'm the one initiating contact. I have to do all the phoning/texting. He very rarely phones or texts me (but, lately, when he says he will he most often does. He also said that if he doesn't return my calls it's because he can't for some reason.) He has never given me a gift (I've given him a couple), and won't tell me flat out whether or not he sleeps with other women (he just says he doesn't need a lot of sex and has no time for anyone else since he has hobbies, sports and his job). And here's a strange thing, he doesn't kiss me even though we do (almost) everything else imaginable, I asked him if he liked kissing and he said that he does, sometimes. So I said that he must not like MY kisses and he didn't answer. Just clammed up. But he insisted that when I need s_x, I'm to call him. Is he in love with me in a weird Gemini way or should I cast my net elsewhere?

No, this is not love and I think deep within you know that or else you would not be here asking this question. Do you enjoy the way he treats you? if your answer is, YES! stay with him and be happy. If your answer is, no! Get your fanny out of that situation and move onto something more fun and emotionally satisfying.

He is a "control freak" and you are letting him treat you this way. Why? I know why...you do not value yourself highly because if you did, you would be gone.

Kissing is a very intimate act - men who visit prostitutes do NOT kiss them - reason being, they may become emotionally connected.

I'm not dependent on him for anything, except for sex. And it's exciting. I guess that's why I have a hard time letting him go. He even commented once that I couldn't get along without sex or without him. I think I'll tell him that I'm looking for a more emotional connection and that since he doesn't seem to want to connect with me emotionally, I guess we'll have to be simply friends -- not lovers. But I'll miss him. That bit about men not kissing prostitutes really hit me. Thanks for your comments.

aquaj, easier said than done. But it has been a week since we last had contact. I'm going about my business, living life. I've promised myself not to contact him -- I'll see how long it takes him to decide to give me a ring (if at all!).
