Self Deception...

This is tough because i think most of us are similar to this, especially in the younger years. We ususally act out and respond to how we feel. The problems come because that is how we feel for that moment. then the next we don't. When we are around that person, and scorps tend to do this to us, be get all goo goo.... they have a way with us.. and until we mature, we don't always handle it right. it's a learning process for us to know what love is and what infatuation is. Once we figure that out.. that doesn't happen so much. I know before i figured that out.. i was a wreck. I loved being in that puppy love stage, and sought it out.. hurt alot of people in that process. Then i truely fell in love.. and that was it. I haven't been like that young girl since then. But that's a challenge for us to figure out. I think that might be the hardest thing for people to understand about us. all it takes is one small thing, and we no longer feel that way. then we could run in to you again, and there it is.. all over again. right back where we were all goo goo... lol i din't know.. that's been my experience and in talking with some other gem females, they said it was like that for them too...

Yup... know a 21 year old gem who thinks she is in love with this scorpman who from my observations have been taking advantage of her insecurities. Then another gem friend few days back told me she met a scorp and he is the best person she has met so far. and read a few stories around here... got its confusing...

I don't think it's that she or we care.. cuz i'm with her on all that shit. I'm in my mid 30's and well, honestly alot of the traits ya i had when i was younger, but not the case in hell the last 8 years. But alot of that is like E-Gem was saying, stupid people. Learning right from wrong. It's not that we care about what they think, personally it's just getting that brand, you get sick of hearing it, especially when that's not how alot of us are. I think with Gem's especially, maturity is KEY.

Hmm, well I married a Scorpio. He was really *into* me and that attracted me. I did deceive myself a little convincing myself it would last. I definately loved him, and when I married him, I believed 100% that we would last. I don't know. I'm not wishy-washy (though I can be from time to time) but I don't want to live life with regrets. So if I see something I want, I try to go for it.
I believe that Scorpios are sexy and mysterious, which attracts the Gemini. I imagined a lot of conversations with him, getting to know him deeply and that appealed. That was also the best side of our relationship. He was an itneresting person to get to know. Never again, though! Not for me.

A bit confused about this part. Especially in the areas of Gem girl/Scop Man. Is this combo getting all attracted bcoz of geminis self deceptive complications?? Do you girls really think that you are in love when you are not and you think you hate someone when you really like them?? I am bit confused and been thinking over this for last few days. Even when a gemini girl find herself totally stuck with Scorpio man, unable to be she herself, she seems to think she is in love with him(two gem girls I know are in this stage and i found few stories here). Its quite obvious to outsiders that she is not what she was before and completely controlled by scorp man.
Why does gemini doesn't make an attempt to escape when she is not in love and completely manipulated and controlled by scorp man and why does gemini want to run away from someone when she is really in love and the other person cares about her like anything?

It is true. We are drawn to the emotiona depth NOT bc we aren't s emotional..Scorpios or anyother water sign handle it differently. Correct we need mental stimulation...the way a scorpio needs control, the way cancer needs emotional security,capricorn needs status. However I guess for the routine part that wouldn't scare me as i'm on the cusp.....BUT i can deffinitly see being younger how it would. We are not wishy washy ppl when loving you. INFACT i'll bet anything we come on too strong, too interested & too steady. Different sides. As far as manipulation.....we like playing "dumb" especially when younger...to learn your MOTIVES. we also can be very manipulative, However...we usually feel bad LOL
