Hi guys, I'm new here. I met this great Gemini while on vacation visiting my friend this summer. I'm incredibly attracted to his personality, he's so nice, charming, funny, polite, your typical gemini 😉 He seems like an awesome guy. He's coming up for a visit to see our mutual friend and myself. I'm estatic but starting to freak out a little after reading how they need a partner who is equally as witty, interesting, yadi yah. I'm a fun girl, very polite and sweet. I think I have a good sense of humour once I 've gotten to know someone but I wouldn't define myself as witty at all. And get this......I'm a scorpio, nooooooooooooo!,ahaha Just my luck, of course. He's unlike any guy I have ever met. Guys this is making me nervous. I've been told by my mutual friend that's he's interested in me and he's left me some nice comments on my myspace. None which are actually that witty now that I think about it,ahaha

Jenna,

Congrats on snagging the interest of a Gem. I'm in a similar situation myself with a Gem much younger. Yes, the way with words, the genuine interest and kindness he shows in me...it's all incredibly appealing. Plus, what is it with the Gem voice? His voice is the gentlest, the most refined....ah!

I think it's important to be yourself...but emphasize the following: your femininity. Gem is a masculine sign, for all its versatility, and the male Gem is intrigued by the softness, the silences of the Scorpio lady.

Yes, education is important. So highlight your college, your degrees etc. One tip: the Gem male craves to be understood! If you know the poetry he loves, the subject he's passionate about....he'll love you for it.

You do have to control your emotions and play hard to get at times, as it is hard to hold his interest. Good hunting!

ahaha, the sound of his voice. Oh it's so funny you've brought that up. I just finished telling my sister how he has this great voice. I can't even describe it, but its unlike anything I've heard before. I could easily just sit and listen to him reading out of the phone book, hehe And you're right it is gentle and refined. Weird or what.

Well, I'm a very feminine girl and well educated so hopefully there will be no problems there. What works well is that we're both studying film and we happen to share a few favorites when it comes to movies and directors.

So I hear that Geminis aren't very deep. On the other hand, I'm a very sensitive, deep sort of person. Do they really take things that lightly or is it different once they've fallen in love? I find this all so fascinating.

hello =) welcome to the boards!!

well i'm a gemini female, and it's not that we aren't deep...actually we are but we dislike showing that until it is the right time for us ( we are comfortable enough to do so) and you'll be in for a real surprise when he does...we do take things lightly but you'll notice when he starts taking you more seriously...he'll start calling you on things, or want to talk them out and try to "FIX" them..hope that helped lol

i dated a gemini for 2 years & i am a scorpio. our relationship was so turbulent! we were constantly fighting and making up, then fighting again. it was terrible, i lost so much energy. i read somewhere that the relationship can be like fog or mist(air/water) and ours defintely felt like a big heavy, confusing fog. it was just not right. i wish i had figured it out sooner.
the biggest problem was my emotions and his lack of interest in them! he would try to dismiss my emotions and just roll his eyes which would make me more mad. then talk about intellectual stuff, blah blah blah. i never saw him very emotional or sentimental.he also hated my jealousy. he knows how to get me really heated in like 2 seconds flat like no one else can. and i weighed him down with all my emotions i think.
now he still tries to get in touch with me but his wit doesnt work on me anymore. it just falls flat. and thats a pretty good feeling for me >🙂
i dont know, i am only 20 so i dont have a whole lot of insight for dating. but this relationship was just not meant to be. he lives for chaos and i hated it, i want to reach into something, dig myself into it, then stay there safely burrowed. or something. we are just very different. but what is weird is i was able to move on now and he still hasn't. who knows! i hardly saw emotion come from him too, it was just too rough.

Kiki1186,

I hear you. I think this pairing works best with other compatible planets. My Gem guy has moon conjunct jupiter in Scorpio. Moon sign in a guy's chart is often representative of his ideal woman! I have lots of Libra and Virgo planets...need some of the intellectual stimulation (books, ideas, music, discussions) that a Gem guy needs, though not at the hyperspeed he seems to go at!

Air sign men are often drawn to watery women. They are charmed and unnerved by our free expression of emotion, our moods, and non-verbalness. As for the Gemini charm...what can I say? I am often tongue-tied, feeling it is easier to express myself through music than words...how I admire his verbal dexterity. And he seems so unruffled, whereas I often feel bogged down by emotion.

As a Scorp I do sometimes want to "dig myself" into some kind of safe place and stay there...yet I resist this temptation...Geminis can open you up to new experiences like no one else...we Scorps need to lighten up and let ourselves loose more....
