I am curious if anyone has experienced this technique and what your experience was. I studied aromatherapy for many years before I came across this technique and was shocked that the majority of oils used for this technique as instructed by Young Living, are actually dermatoxic and cautioned against use in every other essential oil reference book that I have read. I was also shocked that the explanation given as the redness which resulted after the treatment was said to be due to "toxins leaving the skin," rather than burns from using dermatoxic essential oils undiluted on the skin. I received my certification in integrative clinical aromatherapy after studying with a Nurse Practitioner who also highly cautioned us from even using these same oils diluted, on the skin....so I am interested in what your experience is.
