Just to let you know, I normally would not have gone so far as to post on every single board with my...I guess we'll call it a "theory" at this point, since it's not yet 100% certain. I am sorry to have caused you the trouble of having to then post directly after me in dissention...I suppose I didn't think about the possibility that all of this could be one huge misunderstanding. Star, I was thinking along the same lines as you...but you know what? I'm going to try really hard to never, ever in my whole life jump to conclusions about anything, ever again. So, people can feel how they choose about everything that's happened, and I feel really, really, really bad about wrongly accusing people...it's something I will never do again as long as I live. I feel horrible about it. The fact that there's been no response to my apology on this thread is what leads me to believe that sides might have been taken, but I can only try to be as good a human as possible in this lifetime and when I treetrunk up, all I can do is apologize and not do it again, and I guess some things are just unforgivable? Ugh. I don't know. This has been the worst week! :/ It's especially sad to me when someone I really like does not want to cut any slack, which has happened once now (romeclone). Oh well...this is all just one huge, awful "learning experience" for me I suppose. Depressing as it is.

I thought you would be irritated because of the whole "list" fiasco, which, funny story...I told my boyfriend about the whole thing and he was like, "jeez, McCarthy, yeah you pretty much stepped on his [your] toes with that, if I was him I would be irritated too, even though your heart was in the right place"...LOL. I was like, "oh, thanks for your support". Pshaw. But anyway, I'm glad everything's cool, I was freakin' out, obviously I really dig you as a person, so...but everything's good, so I'm good now. And my second guess other than you being mad at me, was that your boss or someone told you to be more detached, lol, which, although that kinda bites, I can totally understand. Okey dokey. Actually PR your "list fiasco" is right on the money! She or he is indeed all those people! IP addys are either static or dynamic. Static means it'll never change. Dynamic means it will. How it works is that one can have their ISP give them blocks of addys (up to 25 adds. they can use) to hide their true addy. All one has to do is reconfig. their win. DHCP file (which even a child can do!) Some of these high speed internet services out there also provide this for an additional fee.

The problem will come into play on DXP's end. You see when this person has been posting all these posts dxp recognizes it as one pc addy cuz it is and hence all those names will appear grouped together cuz this person can use any of those addys they want. They may be hiding their true addy but dxp should have just one associated with all of these "fake addys".

It's actually quite simple so stop beating yourself up. Your fiasco list is accurate. Take a good look at some of the usual posters. Notice how their names appear consecutively? Yours included BTW. It's cuz we have a static IP addy. If we had a dynamic IP addy we could do the same thing as well. But why would anyone want to is the ?

Log on using AOL stupie, and see what happens!

Well Saggie, I know where you're coming from and I was just as angry as you are a few days ago, but for my own sanity as well as everyone else's, I had to just let it go. I'm not saying you have to do that, I'm just saying I can't stand carrying negative feelings around with me for more than like a day or two. Deep down, Suzy is a good person. Whatever her reasons for the 4 aliases, she had justifiable (in her mind) reasons for that. We can't prove the other 12 or however many, according to dxp, so I just have to let it be water under the bridge. I hope you two can resolve this in some way also.
