I like bad boys with soft hearts! I prefer a manly alpha male type with a rough look. Kinda like what MissKitty described in one of her posts. I dont like pretty boys so to speak. I like a man with a substantial build. I have dated all over the board because I find that I am attracted to personalities very often, but what initially physically attracts me to a man is a dangerously handsome and masculine persona.

Leo's claim to be loyal and protecting of their loved ones...total BS!!! someone as selfish as a leo can never protect another person.

So NOT true. We are fiercely protective of our loved ones. I would and have sacrificed my own personal safety and well being for my loved ones.

Whitehorse, you sound just like bluedeath..If I remember well Bludeath initiated a thread about Leo women and "devorce" a while back..same spelling mistake...too funny..

Whitehorse I don't think there are significant differences between Leo women and women from other zodiac signs when it comes to their expectations towards love and marriage.

Based on my observations, here are a few things I find Leo women have in common, at least the ones I know including myself:
We usually have pretty strong personalities as in knowing what we want, therefore we need to be with a man who matches us in that regard. We will pick a troublemaker over someone who will take the easy way out as we have no tolerance for spineless or cowardly behavior. Most Leo women I know including myself are not particularly materialistic, they usually have their own careers and are self-reliant. They also expect the man in their life to at least carry his own weight and be stable enough to take care of his family if need be. I also find that there are 2 types of Leo women: the ones who crave stability as in marriage and family and the ones who somehow don't seem to ever be able to settle down and who seem to always be going after the unattainable. I think this is probably due to Leo's competitive nature.
We don't like "smooth talkers", it makes us cringe and we won't believe you. Be straightforward with us and always say it as it is, we're just too intuitive and usually see reasons behind every word and action. Don't be too obvious in the way you dress, we like an understated and classy style , not stiff but also not sloppy. I don't know where Leo women get the reputation of being lavish spenders as I don't relate to this at all. We're rarely spendthrifts but I certainly wouldn't say that we're high maintenance. Most Leo women I know love to travel and are open enough to embrace different cultures. Also we love stability but don't care for boring routine. Have you ever seen a lion pacing back and forth in his cage? This is what routine feels like for us. We love being with a spontaneous mate as we usually have spontaneous natures.
As for loyalty, we will be loyal to you as long as you're loyal to us. If we ever have reasons to doubt your commitment and loyalty we rarely stick around..

I'm very Leo.....Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn...

There's no specific.... I don't particularly like dark men or tall men...(although I really don't like short men). So in a nutshell a man who's personality attracts me gets me. Looks aren't the be all and end all but I wouldn't date something who's looks don't do it for me...but he doesn't have to a Greek God.
As for the personality - he needs to make me laugh, feel supported, feel acknowledged and appreciated (biggie!) and occassionaly remind me that I love him. He needs to have a strong character and show ambition and be loyal and committed no matter what! I must always come first - he in return will come first too!

Par the current man in my life I've grown board with every man I've ever been romantically involved with, either in the first week or in the third year. I don't know but something about this one just doesn't bore me....I guess it's because he remains an individual and allows me to remain one as well. It's been four years, we live together, are best friends and I still get butterflies in my tummy when he's number shows up on my screen...

So basically you either have it or you don't....if you don't have it don't bother trying to get it.
