I find it all very FAKE.
The most a stranger will get is a handshake, otherwise don't touch me.
Yea I don't kiss anyone on the cheek (unless its my mom or my son), and vice versa. I don't mind a hand shake, but even then I sometimes want to break out my hand sanitizer lol.
Makes me very uncomfortable.....I hate it!!
I feel like I'm the only virgo here who loves to touch, ie hugging, a light touch, ect.
I feel the people in the US are too confined and worried about their own space, actually. Places in Europe, it's more accepted.
In other words, must be the leo in me 😛
By 'virgo-leo', do you mean Virgo with Leo rising?
I'm a Virgo with Leo rising and I feel really uncomfortable with physical contact with anyone except my significant other. With her, conversely, I love lots of physical affection.
I always overthink & get anxious w/ the whole physical greeting on 2nd or 3rd meetings w/ people because that may indicate where I stand w/ them. I usually do the shake-up/half-hug combo w/ my male friends, hug my female friends, dap it up or give standard handshakes w/ acquaintances so when people give hesitant handshakes or light hugs, I feel like they're not comfortable around me. Even if you don't know me or barely know me & give me a robust physical greeting, I'm definitely buying you drinks tonight.
I can't stand it at all! It's not that I don't like hugging or being touched, it just something for my most inner circle of people. It irritates me when strangers or people I feel I only know on a superficial level try to hug me. I don't show any indication that I want it, yet they just barrel right on over and grab me like a defenseless slab of flesh and bones.

Candeh... I'm somewhat the same way. Was surrounded by mostly British people few years before I came here.
Yeah I had a female roommate that was British too, I think they call it snogging. It was a social thing but she said it was really for the boys she liked.

I really just started to get into this astrology thing, so I'm not to sure. I knew that I was a virgo and then discovered the cusp of exposure. It described me with an uncanny detail. I'm still learning 08/28 4:30am. I like dxp so far.
@ Layna thank you dxpnet is a little crazy. Most threads are very entertaining and informative.
@ Lena282 yea I think part of it is a hygiene issue for me, kinda a germaphobe. You never know who didn't wash their hands after using the bathroom.
Can't stand any form of it. Especially when someone leans in to give me a kiss (on the cheek that is) I get the real one and they get the air version. lol.
well you do have mouth right just tell people that u barely dont touch me simple as that.
i dont like people touching that i dont know i dont know if they wash they hands or are they clean lmao.
and i hate fake smiles and handshakes but i dont care cuz im not really a social person unless i have to be on a superficial level of course lol.

I agree with you. I lived in other cultures and people are more open to hugging and kissing and all that stuff. I guess they're talking about funky people in that case I agree.
I am very affectionate. I talk with my hands and very fluid with body language. Hugging and kissing come naturally to me. Handshakes are required in work space. I handshake males and cheek-to-cheek with females I've met more than once. I'm also born in the cusp of exposure.

Hi everybody virgo-leo here. I was talking to a friend about the unnecessary need for hugs and handshakes that are "expected" nowadays at social places are events with perfect strangers. I think most people have been in a social situation where their forced to hug someone or shake a multitude of strange hands. I find it annoying and uncomfortable. I know some people like to kiss on the cheeks I think that is crazy. I just hide or say that I have a cold coming on. I don't know what do you guys think.
