Well Cancer women tend to be more submissive with their mates & she will let her Leo be the head of the household or maintain his throne. And the same goes for vice versa whether we're talking about Cancer women or Cancer men. I think sometimes Leos cannot stand the constant mood swings or the constant negativity when a Cancer is down & out but because Cancer is very determined to keep her/his mate around & will quickly clear up her/his attitude. There's a lot of compromise (for the good) in Leo & Cancer relationships

It could happen. . . I fell very hard for a cancer and it took me a while to recover. We had some fun times that I'll always remember. I talked to him for hours on the phone each night and before ever talking to him, I looked at him and got butterflies. I will always remember that. I still to this day sometimes feel like he is the one who got away. He was more leo than cancer though because he had his ascendant in leo as well as his moon. We both had our ascendants in leo so I thought that was pretty neat. I noticed a lot of similarities in him and I. We had the same sense of humor and he just *understood* me which I loved. He did fall faster than I did though. Once I realized I was in love with him it was too late.

I love my Leo woman. I always seem to be strongly attracted to Leo woman, and get along with them very easily. I've been in 2 serious relationships, both with Leo's. What I learned from the first one was that I need to voice my feelings, concerns, problems, etc. I would keep them bottled up inside, and this created a toxic environment. My second relationship is going a lot better, and we are an excellent team. She brings out the best in me, most times. She can handle my moodiness very well, and I do my part by giving her fair warning when I feel them coming, and I try to keep my emotions in check, and stable for the most part.

I think our full charts probably help a lot though:

baad. cancerians cannot stand the disgusting leo arrogance, and leos think we're gloomy and can't understand why we don't have hundreds of fake friendships.

I disagree, I find Leo's confidence and energy inspiring. A strong Leo draws me like a magnet. As long as they have a feminine side and aren't so independent that they don't let me do anything for them, that is.

i am a leo female and was with a cancer male for about 3 years. great lessons learned from that experience but it was an absolute horrible match! the lessons i learned were mainly that he was everything in a man that i did NOT want. so, he was good for me in the fact that i never repeated history. this doesn't mean i avoid cancer men for the sake of their sign, but i may think twice.

Tasha,

I can't speak for ninjamu, but I can tell you that Cancers have a hard time letting go once our pincers get a hold of something. Also, from my past experience, I'm betting things started off really well. Cancers love smothering their mates with attention, and Leos love to bask in that attention. It was probably more of a slow decline rather than a catastrophic event, which is why it took so long to break it off.
