Leo FWB

After our first time together I want to keep hooking up with my Leo friend. Should I wait until I see him next to let him know/see if he brings it up
or
should I call/text/e-mail in advance about how eager I am? 😉
I ask because I was browsing around and some people suggest to give the Leo space while, on the other hand, others are saying to show interest before the Leo loses interest.

It may or may not be worth mentioning he insinuated this be an ongoing thing and we've been flirting since half a year ago now.
Also usually we communicate face-to-face so the text seems a bit... unnatural? (Although I have had this mild urge to bring this up sooner than later)

Many Leos are not masters of subtlety. In fact, many seem to like "in-your-face" behavior and forthrightness - just not violence or abuse or overwhelmingly embarrassing situations... get the drift?

BUT! You already agreed to a FWB and gave up the goods. If he says he'll continue, then it will continue, but if you're hoping it will turn to more then it doesn't look good.

And that's good news. I think we make perfect FWBs, because we truly fit the definition FRIENDS with benefits and I couldn't see us being any thing more than that.

No, men, regardless of sunsign, do not respond well to eagerness - they see this as being needy the big eejits 🙂 Give him space to come after you - Leos appreciate interest shown while in a relationship or pursuing a relationship, they lose interest when their own interest is not reciprocated - we need attention and reaffirmation. Men in general need to be able to set the pace of the chase.

Why do you say that?

I am going to agree with Leoflow on this one.

If you are debating whether or not to call based on what other people have told you regarding Leos he is going to hurt your feelings or worse yet, your heart. You are a Pisces afterall.

You say you want a FWB relationship. Very few women can actually handle it. It sounds fancy but in reality you are just a piece of ass and so is he.

If you think you can handle it, then by all means get it in. I have a feeling the Leo board has not seen the last of you my dear.

You should text him ASAP and tell him how you feel. If there is one thing I cannot stand it's a woman in need, left needy! Such a waste... Reminds me of that episode of Mad Men when Betty made it with the washing machine because her husband wasn't giving it to her. That left a scar deep inside my soul, lol!

And you're a Pisces right? I don't think a Lion has the heart to let down an "eager" Pisces 😉

Thanks everyone for your input. I have a pretty good idea how I want to do this now.

For those who are concerned, thank you. I understand that fwb have the potential to do more harm than good (especially as a pisces woman lol) and it is true I used to be far too sensitive and romantic for these sort of relationships to ever work, unable to separate romantic feelings from sex.
Luckily that's no longer been an issue, and I have had amazing times with my fwbs while remaining good friends or even becoming much better friends (even long after the "benefits" part ended!)
