Leos and Water Signs

Let's be honest, Leo people...how many of you get along well with Pisceans or Cancerians? I find that although I'm really cool with Scorpios, my friendships with Cancerians and Pisceans is less than gratifying. They seem to be quite self-absorbed and only want to discuss matters pertaining to them. I try to avoid them at all costs.

Any thoughts?

My list is so long. Ok, all my relationships have been with water signs. Primarily pisces. My best friend of ::mumbles:: years is a cancer. She is far from self absorbed. She is the most caring person I've ever met, I just love her to death. Although the other relationships eventually didn't work out I have never had solid relationships with any other signs. I really do have to admit that my sons father was/is very self absorbed and he is a pisces. That isn't supposed to be the case with them, but it was with him. To the extreme. I am a lion freak of nature, lol, I love water signs

No ambition? Cancer's definitely have ambition. We just don't have the need to hit everybody over the head with our bright ideas or showboat.

I've met Cancerians and Pisceans with ambition but they don't stick to anything they ever set out to accomplish. Sorry to be mean but I have yet to meet a water sign (Scorpio excluded) that isn't all about themselves.

Purrfect, I am with you. Fire signs aren't entirely compatible with earth signs but most of the important people in my life are either Taureans or Caps. Virgos...no, not really. 😉 There is a misfit in each element, isn't there? Like with air signs, love them all but not a big fan of aquarians.

And ACtually in my opinion and with my experiencew with them, Leo's are the most selfish sign I have ever dealt with. They are very egotistic.

Leo's and Water Signs

I had one Leo friend (with Pisces rising though) and we used to crack each other up laughting alot. Leo's are funny people.

Softy...when someone makes a generalization of your sign, it doesn't give you the green light to make a generalization of mine(especially in the Leo chat room--disrespectful). I take offense to your comment about Leo's being selfish and egotistical...My sister left her husband, and she (w/ her two kids) have been living w/ me, rent free, in my ONE BEDROOM APT. FAR from me being selfish. If it's been your experience that the Leo's you've dealt with suck...speak only of THOSE Leos.

I personally LOVE all water signs my mom is scorp, best friend is scorp, other best friend is cancer, other best friend is pisces and dad is pisces. To be honest with you, I don't have too many close friends that aren't of the water element.

One of my brothers AND cousin graduated from high school last year and I am letting them stay with me until they "get it together". Rent free. Just clean up after yourself and keep trying is how I see it. I understand your situation.

I apologize..and I need to correct myself...The Leo's I have dealt with, in my family aren't really selfish....I chose the wrong word...They are self-centered. My mom has done alot for me,,but I never hear the end of it, and as I said before, every conversation somehow ends up being about them...I just find the ones in my family semi-annoying.

I could see that. I think Leos only open up themselves to someone they care about and maybe once in the conversation spotlight, maybe it might get out of hand...

I think Cancers are self-absorbed but THINK that they give a lot to other people. At least, that's my experience with Cancerian friends. My favourite cousin is a Cancer and she's so adorable and I love her...BUT, I know everything about her life and she is clueless about mine.

Pisceans on the other hand...are just manipulative, moody...and honestly, I don't like these guys. They are not reliable and give themselves too much self-importance. That is MY experience with them.

Again, I'm sure that there are some wonderful Pisces and Cancers but I'm just recounting my own experiences. Based on those experiences, I would prefer not to make anymore Piscean or Cancerian friends. 😉

Perhaps. One of my Cancer friends probably owes me nearly $ 4,000 given the number of times I've paid her entrance to clubs, her share of the parking, her movie ticket, her lunch, etc. I've known her for 15 years and that entire time she has been a mooch. Leos are generous...how about that?

My other Cancer friend constantly complains about how broke he is, yet spends about $ 50-70 a night on getting drunk.

Oh...and they are unreliable. ALL the Cancers I know always make plans but fail to follow through because they are either don't have money or are going to spend the day with their 'schnookums.' We all know how much more Cancers love being in love than us.

You know, I like Cancers because I think they are inherently GOOD people...but I can't afford more Cancer friends. :-)

i am a cancer and have a few leo friends...all of which are extremely flighty. i love them dearly, but they are very bad at keeping in touch or being "close" friends. they seem to be very caught up in their own life...and don't seem to go too far out of the way to accomodate others.

i disagree that cancers are selfish and into our own lives. we are probably the most generous, giving and caring sign in the zodiac. we can probably come across as "into our selves" but that is not the case.

My Leo cousin and I hang out all the time...she is always short on cash or else thinks every thing is TOO much money, when its actually reasonably priced...all of which is a ploy because she knows I will cover her...and I do. I buy her drinks etc, I never ask for the money back..I have loaned her money,and she has never paid it back,,,But I just let it go,,She has borrowed money and when she was reasy to pay me back, she called and told me I COULD COME AND GET IT...when she should have brought it over...she has borrowed clothes, ruined them, and did not offer to replace. I have driven her around and she has never offered gas money...I am known as a VERY generous friend, by ALL of my friends, I give when I don't have to give,,,,so I don't know what Cancers you know that are selfish and free-loaders because I am not one....My mom, who is a Leo, is always talking about how somepne should pay her when she does something for them,,,Like watching her GRANDCHILD..ordoing her SISTERS taxes,,,Hmmmm

I've seen you post this a couple times before. Seems like your cousin bothers you. Stop loaning her your things and your problem will be solved. Don't buy her drinks, loan her clothes, don't hang out with her "all the time". I know you love her, you must you're a cancer. Well she's always calling me depressed and wants to "get out"...and she always sounds so miserable...I haven't been out with her recently, I haven't taken her calls a few times....so she called me today, once again, sounding miserable, and said she was starting to take offence because I hadn't returned her call...So I called her back, and invited her out with me and a couple of my friends...the first thing she said was "How much is it going to cost"....I told her no more than $ 20....she never called me back...I think that was supposed to be my cue, to say "don't worry about it"..

I am not sure if you are asking for something or just stating a fact. But will do my best. I'm far from loud but have a tendancy to be bossy. So I've been told 🙂

It's usually like this when I am feeling "right" about something and think my way is the best solution. Then, I can be pretty aggressive about someone I care about seeing it the same way. Understanding that your friend is just very passionate about her views could help. It may also help to realize that bossy people are easy to control. Just nod, smile, and do it your way anyway. lol

This is a good topic.

Paying too much attention too sun signs bothers me too. Not so much with people who ask the general question, but more with the people who want to go on and on and ON about how this is the way it is PERIOD. And all leos/gems etc share every single quality. And they are sure of it. Why? Because they read up on the sun signs. Because Linda Goodman SAYS SO.

I feel that if someone wants to take the time out to debate the signs, they should know what they are debating. If you really are interested, learn more. Get it right, lol

As for couples who are with a sign that Linda says isn't good for them? Well, know what I think? I think only you know what is really going on between the two of you. And when someone comes here looking for answers, deep down inside they already know what is good for them. My scorp has been good for me in ways I can't even explain. And only we know this. Linda doesn't know us 🙂

See? This is good. There are also aspects from the lower planets that have significant meaning too.

Leos do match well with water signs. I am a cancer woman dating a leo and we have a great relationship. We both are very loyal, protective, and family people. We love hard, and fight hard, but we never stay mad at each other long becuase of the passion we have for each other. Cancerians have big hearts. We are way better friends to others, that others are to us. SO DO NOT GENERALIZE........
