How do you keep a Leo? =/

Hello to those who remember me, I haven't been on this site for a quite some time.

Anyway, a question to male Leos. I'm a Pisces and I was wondering how to keep a Leo. I recently was involved with a Leo (3 weeks), he tells me he likes me a lot, I liked him also but this Leo is kind of rough. He gives me bruises after a short make-out session etc.. Are all Leos like this? And even when he was going smoothly, he still gives me bruises. I tell him to calm down all the time but he becomes too excited.

I wanted to end the relationship after him telling me that he's cheated on his girlfriends numerous times before. Also, one time we were looking at a magazine, he would not shut up about "damn this girl is hot" blah blah. And he's always checking out girls, ugly, fat, you name it. It really pisses me off.

Can someone tell me what I should do with this Leo? Leo males PLEASE HELP ME!!! Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

That's exactly what I was thinking - to move on to someone more mature.

I actually have no idea why I'm with him. I think its because I haven't had a boyfriend in almost a year and finally this guy comes and tells me that he's interested in being my boyfriend.

I knew it was a bad idea being with him. I think he's even cheating on me. I told him that I don't care as I'm not in love with him. He tells me he would never cheat on me and even wants to marry me (he was serious and wanted to set everything up) I thought "but we've only been together three weeks!!!!!" He is so weird.

He's a Leo and said that he never took anyone seriously until he found me. Of course I don't believe him. He would tell me this repeadly "I like you a lot because you're nice." Well, I'm a Pisces and I'm always nice lol.

Blueangel and an angel you are! NO need for you to settle with any man who does not treat/respect you the way you want to be treated! And...so what if you have not had a boyfriend for awhile - sometimes it is better to not have one than to have a discombobulated man in your life who wants to bring you down to his level...nah - move on - you deserve much, much better!

Also....some guys will say what they think the girl wants to hear just so they can get all up in there! Trust you intuition...you know it is right on because you are a Pisces - Happy Birthday btw 😉!

Another hint....when a man comes on too strong at the beginning - it is usually a sign that he will end the relationship very quickly as he is only after one thing. A man who takes his time is looking for the right woman for him.

I have to agree with the others here....dump him! Why would you want to keep him? A male Leo who puts bruises on you is probably going to end up being controlling anyway if you do stick with him and as long as he doesn't dump you first. My Dad's a Leo and he has never put a bruise on my Mom, so it's not like it's a normal lion like thing for male Leo's to do. Really, do yourself a favor and let him go.

Hey thank you so much everyone for your advice and support. I feel like a stronger person than I was before. Also, thank you Freebird for the greeting.

Trust me, I've tried to break up with this Leo at least three times but every time, he would tell me that he likes me a lot and wants to be with me.

The first time I went on a date with him, his cell phone would always ring, he has to answer it and it would piss me off. His ex who he hasn't seen in years called him while we were on our way to the theater, he said she's been bugging him lately. And then the next day he showed me the numbers on his phone, he had about 10 girls on there, said that they were just friends and he has at least 5 ex girlfriends on there also. I read that Leos like to keep in contact with exs and even have picture albums.

Last night I tried to break up with him a few times but he would not leave me alone! It's so hard to break up with this Leo!!! He showed me his phone again and said "What, you don't trust me? ...Here you want to see who called me?" ....I said "no" He said "I was going to say...it's bad" I looked at it and three different girls called him. I don't even remember their names from the last time I looked at his address book.

WOW I HATE THIS GUY! He is so annoying. Can someone tell me please how to get rid of this Leo PLEAASEEEE!!!! He is obviously a player but he just won't leave me alone! He makes me feel guilty all the time! I wish I could just tell him to piss off! and not feel bad about it. Sometimes it's hard being a Pisces =[

By the way, this guy is like 27. HE NEEDS TO GROW UP!!! OMG... He admitted to me last night that he cheated on ALL of his girlfriends except for me. HE'S A LIAR!!! He hates it when I tell him "How do I know that you haven't cheated on me, you probably already cheated on me." The thing is this guy is honest, I told him "I don't believe you! Do you tell the exact same thing to your gfs back then?" he replied "yes" then say "SEE! You are using the same line on me!!!" then he get upset with me.

I will try to break up with him again today. This time, I am going to run and hide after. I think I know why it's hard to leave him, because I feel protected when I am with him and also, he opened up to me about his childhood and everything and he cried to me last night. This is so hard...

hm, my thoughts after the first few lines in your post were: i guess leos can be "rough" in a certain way, like when they get overwhelmed by their feelings. and they also like to provoke, so i would take everything they say with a grain of salt and a huge amount of humour.
but after reading the rest of your post, my advice is to RUN as fast as you can. that man sounds like a complete idiot to me, and the only thing he does is make you unhappy. and you don't need this, noone does. it may be hard, but such an insensitive idiot is the last thing you deserve. find someone else and get happy!

This sounds an awful lot like the Leo I once dated in college. He'd be almost 27 today. He loved the women and loved telling everyone that he was just one of those guys who had a lot of friends who were girls. He's been with his girlfriend for the past few years and even last summer, he emailed me and apparently, he's never forgotten about me. I told him to never email me again.

I'm a Leo and I will never date a Leo. No offense to the Leo men on here but out of maybe 15 Leo men that I've met, only 2 of them were decent guys. That's a pretty bad ratio.

Dude, he was restraining me down on the passenger's seat with the seat belt. He had his hand on the lock so I would not be able to leave. I told him that he was kidnapping me but finally I told him off. He told me that he loves me, I don't know, I kind of felt bad because I had feelings for him also. I had an issue with him still talking to his exs and his ex fck buddies, I was so angry. I told him "It's so hard to break up with you!!!" because he's always chasing me like a carnivorous lion. Anyway, I called my other friend who is like my best friend, another Leo and he told me that what I did was right.

First of all, most people are self centered . . : )

I have a tendency to be VERY prideful Haffo. It doesn't mean I am a people hater. And it's not out of superiority. Most of the time it's out of self-preservation depending on the circumstance. In other cases the only person I hurt is myself. Sometimes pride is necessary. I happen to love people. All different kinds of people. I've never been accused of hating. It's when people like you come on these boards and throw around comments like yours without any reason that is hateful. Really now. What did you think your going to accomplish? I wonder, if you saw me on the street and found out I was a leo within the first 5 minutes of knowing me, would you automatically hiss out all the things you just did? I'm willing to bet you wouldn't.

The true nature of pride is hate towards people. By being prideful and therefore arrogant you just give people the message that you are somehow superiour to others. All people are lesser beings and you are higher being. This kind of behaviour demands difference to be situation between you and the rest of the people. No one will accept you as their superiour. Don't pretend it. Everyone has already tried many tricks to lure people belive them, but know that when you leave pride and show who you reall are, people will know who you are and you will know that you are really not that superiour as you try to show people. You simply deceive yourself. Who loses battle here? People? Or you who live in a dream world where everyone aknowledges your royality? Reality is not like that, so don't pretend it. If you do, then you are enemy of people and no one will tolerate that. And more you are prideful, more you hate people.

It is true that we all driven by ego. Even I am as a Pisces. But my pride is never goes above anyone and I use it for fair existence only.

Of course I wouldn't. If I would, then it wouldn't be realistic kind of behaviour. I do not base people traits on their birthdates. I rather prefer analyse them and find out the traces of what I think is wrong. But people like typical Leo personality are real. My critique is actually directed to them.

Without a pride I can accomplish alot of things. I can rely on people and their experiences while you will see them as minor beings.

First of all you didn't answer my question. Do you see your own pride as a form of hatred. The fact that you didn't answer confirms you aren't trying to understand. According to you the true nature of pride is hatred towards people. I understand your original question was a general one. Who would want to date a "typical" leo personality. Then you added ...."....Self centered, self righteous, overbearing, arrogant,...." To answer your question, I would not want to date anyone who possesses these qualities, but I have. And none of them were leos. My whole issue is your view about pride making someone a people hater. Because I am a leo do you assume I feel pride because I need to feel superior? Again, "superior" is not something I have ever been accused of by people who know and love me. Pride can be positive or negative. And when it's negative I see it as hurting the person who feels it the most. More like a SELF destructive tendency. Hardly hatred towards people. This is my personal opinion. It may be different for others.

LOL!...Well I find the agressive qualities of human nature to be easily spotted rather than lets say seclusion and escapism.

Pride is hate against people, yes. But little amount of it required to have self worth against yourself to live among people. Lets say, if you think that everyone is superiour to you then this means that you have no pride, but then, what worth does it have to live in the world when all others are human beings and you are not?

So, that much pride is needed, but it's nature doesn't change. However, when we speak about typical Leo personality, it does have this pride in excess which brings it "real" bad sides. This is why I said "Who would want to date a typical Leo personality".

Why would you want to keep a Leo? too much hard work they are, praise them, praise them, no thanks. 😉
