It's been a while since I've posted, but I've been lurking. Things have definitely progressed since my last post. We have been living together, blending our families, and love has been overflowing.

My Leo man has been bringing up us having a baby for a few months now. We don't have any together, and we both have other children. The problem isn't having another baby, because I love him dearly & I know he loves me. My issue is that I don't want to be left alone raising a kid by myself again. He is not a deadbeat dad, but kids are major things. I expressed my concerns to him, and he states that "he isn't going any where", plus "he's been thinking about this for a long time."

I don't know what to do!

Here's his chart
Sun Leo 26??34'
Moon Aries 17??44'
Mercury Virgo 5??55'
Venus Libra 1??19'
Mars Cancer 21??24'
Jupiter Libra 9??20'
Saturn Libra 7??19'
Uranus Scorpio 26??09'
Neptune Sagittarius 22??09' R
Pluto Libra 22??13'
Lilith Scorpio 25??58'
Asc node Leo 1??33'

I maybe wrong, But the cancer mars is a good thing. I have a cancer mars. A weird placement in my fire dominant chart. Good indicator though, he has other kids right? How is he with them, about them, and for them?

I think his Cancer Mars is good too. It calms down all that fire. He has other kids, and he loves them, and always there for them & mine as well. He loves kids.

The biggest indicator (but not absolute) is going to be is current kids. There is not way to tell if you two will be together forever. What is going to be the major factor that would play for me, would he make the ideal parent. If something was to happen, would he be effective at co-parenting and would want to be an active part in his child's life. Anything can happen to a relationship but if you are a parent nothing will keep you from being a parent (not including outside influences).

That's quite a chart. Even with the Cancer Mars.

Can you interpret it for me please? Not good at that kind of stuff.

Apologies, but I'm not in a position (just time-wise) right now to get into details.

BUT... several of his placements are ideal in paper. He's got a mostly dignified chart (the astrological meaning), meaning that a number of his planets are placed in such a way as to allow for their easy, natural expression. So there's also a natural balance here.

Regarding Mars in Cancer: it's not ideally placed, which is worthwhile to look at specifically, but can function well in the totality of a chart, depending on what else is in it. Taken on its own, Mars in Cancer can be a bit of a handful, especially the male version. You've got the planet of action, aggression, drive, and passion, in what is generally considered to be the poster child of Water signs: Cancer.

Again, though, it's all about how each placement functions in relation to the other. One's influence might mitigate the influence of another, or nurture its more positive qualities, and so on. It's like chess: having a narrow view isn't conducive to playing well. It's like what the great chess Grandmaster Bobby Fisher always advised before making any move: always consider ALL the pieces on the board.

A chart is a big place, and no placement is an island.

He's an excellent father to our kids. I'm not doubting that. I just wasn't expecting my lion to be so adamant about having another cub.
