I've been known to get hurt and throw out the —??

after a while when you have time to reflect on it do you feel like you overreacted? also im still an immature leo who is maturing and ive noticed this about myself and wanted to see how other leos have dealt with this in their older days

No, Its not any easier as we get older. In fact, it gets worse.

Of course you look back and say "why in the hell did I react that way". Its like part of our DNA. The feeling never goes away but you have to recognize the triggers and be able to take a walk and air out your thoughts to calm down the fire and then come back clear headed. Im 37 and just now getting to this stage of recognition. This "fuck it and walk" trait has cost me alot of good things in my life.

Hope this helps.

youre right i need to take a walk before i react....i know sometimes i overreact so sometimes in the heat of the moment i just walk away before i say anything too mean that i can not take back but then the other person thinks i dont care for them when that is not the case. Im having trouble communicating and finding the balance :/

Yes, emotional impulsivity is something I still struggle with even as I get older.

I've also had the same experience as Ssupes; making the choice over and over to leave people on a dime has always been costly.

The impulse to bolt, to run has never really left, never become quieter. But I have become better at not giving into it. I'll take my time: watch, wait, gather data, make sure that my impulse comes from gut instinct rather than fear.

So I don't leave as quickly anymore, but I still leave and don't look back.

do any other leos out there have a habit of quickly leaving a relationship and not thinking it through?

...couldn't post before for some reason...

The amount of times I've packed my bags, sold my shit, booked a plane ticket and deleted numbers and gotten the hell outta dodge (in my mind lol) I cannot even begin to count haha
But never in actuality, it's just my fantasy exit- ghost it, every time! 😛
