Signs of friendships throughout the years..

I've been quite nostalgic as of late, and have been reminiscing on past friendships that I held (and still remain holding) very dear to my heart.

There is no rhyme nor reason that this is being posted in the Leo message board, mind you. Any sign that comes across this is free to answer, lurk, or respond. Hell, be an indulgent bastard and do all three, eh? 😉

I'll begin with stating the friends that have fostered with me, somehow, a bond that I will never be able to forget or deny. I'd prefer to keep this thread 'BS free' with no reenactments of drama or complaining about old friends and lovers, but if that happens - it happens.

My two closest friends as a young one:
Aries
Virgo

The Aries and I had a unstoppable force of a friendship and were 110% on the same wavelength. We knew what the other wanted without even a word, spoke paragraphs within a glance, and when speaking - it's like we had our own super fast language that nobody could understand or comprehend the intensity of.

The Virgo and I had an intense friendship for 15 years. She was always critical at the most inopportune times.

Recent friendships:
Virgo/Libra cusp

She clicks right away with me and we share similar backgrounds and mindsets. Together we're so liberal you could expect our brains to fall out. We're both artistic and hyper-aware of the social pull on our souls. I'm not sure if that makes sense in text bit that's what it is. Lately she's bought a home and has too much time homemaking to spend time with me - I feel a bit betrayed but that's life at thus age, I guess.

Now:
Taurus

The Taurus is my cat. I'm so pathetic.

LMAO I kid - I have a few close friends now but I'm not going to get into too much of them, just the signs.

Cancer with Libra moon
Capricorn with Leo moon
Scorpio with Scorpion moon (my mate, of course my best friend as well!)
Cancer
Taurus
Aquarius
Libra

I have a great lack of fire signs in my life right now - and I definitely feel that too!!! I usually feel a bit better with some fire in my social weather. I'll have to go out a bit more and meet some new faces and charm some hearts! 😉

Growing up the only friend whose sign I knew was my bestest friend, she was a Libra - emigrated to America and we lost touch, I still think about her, have never been able to find her, I know she tried to find me once but my mother messed it up (accidently). From memory of anothers characteristics she had to have been a Gemini 🙂 She.Never.STFU.

During my marriage I was pretty much hidden away by my pisces husband so friends disappeared - but two hung in there, Cancers - one is still around, we lose touch for months if not longer but just get back together every now and again and its like we never parted.

Now my friends are:

3 x Taurus - great friends, great all rounders, very steady, loyal, great fun and down to earth which is just what I need.
2 x Aries in the last couple of years - I have to say having the fire girls in my life now is excellent, wish I had had them a long time ago - we all just "get" each other and we can say anything at all to each other, such a laugh - the grounding influence of my Bullettes is a good antidote to the madness of the fire/fire combos 🙂

I wouldn't be without any of my current friends now.

My best friends during life have been an Aries (male), a Sag/Cap cusp (male) and a pisces (female). These 3 persons have stuck by me through thick and thin. We've laughed together and we've dried tears together. I love all 3 of them loads and tell them so regularly :-). They have very different personalities obviously, but each brings me something special and unique.

Oh for some reason I was thinking same sex friends. Bestest friend of all of them:

Oh God, with these linguistic skills it was a miracle i found some one who understood me without much effort!

Best friends over the years, in order, if memory serves: (sun/moon) Cancer/Aqua, Capricorn/Libra, Taurus/Aries, Virgo/Scorpio, Taurus/Gemini, Taurus/Leo, Virgo/Sagittarius, Cancer/Cancer, Libra/Cancer.

I am a Leo/Virgo. The ones that have lasted longest are with the Taurus/Aries and Taurus/Leo. Still occasionally talk to all except the virgos and the taurus/gemini. THAT taurus is the only one who will never be allowed back. Her and my ex cancer/gemini bf were the worst for my health. Ugh.

all of these responses are so interesting. I wish we could somehow format a collaborative chart of Sun/Moon makeups to estimate ratios of Sun/Moon relationships.

And as WoundedLeo & CelticLioness pointed out - identified gender probably plays a large role in these friendships as well.

The male friends that I've held outweigh the females (I find that females instinctively sense my territorial nature and would rather be catty than be challenged) however aren't as independent as the females that I hold close (once again - I feel as a result of the former inference). Many male water signs somehow find way to my Scorpion moon and ask for advice or just somebody to silently understand without asking questions.

Current male friends:
Cancer x 5
Aquarius x 2
Aries x 1 (has been chasing me for over 4 years now)
Leo x 2
Virgo x 1

They all have heavy water influence in their chart. The Virgo understands me well and has actually been one that has needed emotional saving from time to time. We've both been through similar experiences and both while young. He's sometimes a prisoner of his own mind and needs escape from time to time and will contact me to have silent company. I'll just drive forever until he's ready to talk or face it himself. I'm unsure of his moon sign and feel as though he has a moon sign that may elaborate a bit on that darkness of mind. We both experience similar trapped feelings and sometimes our minds will fester with diseased thought.

I'm rambling now.

Most, if not all, of my closest friends are Aries & Taurus. We just click.
