If you're a girl - do you ever text a guy first when you're just starting to see each other? For instance, you guys agree that Thursday would be a good day to hang out, would you text the guy first to say what's up?

What about if you know the guy likes certain type of activities, for instance, a band. You find out they are playing in your town. Is it weird to be like 'hey! that band is coming to town!' Not asking him out in the text, but just sending an informative message.

If you're a guy - what do you think about being texted by the girl first in the above types of situations?

I guess it could apply to calling too? But I dunno anyone who still calls each other anymore? The only person I talk to on the phone now is my mom haha.

I get impatient and excited and I don't get nervous about texting a guy first, so sometimes I have a hard time restraining myself from sending them. I am not really sure how it could affect their opinion of me. I'm not like begging them to hang out or anything.. But I wonder if I should stop? Does it affect a guys opinion of me and how?

People say stuff like that. In theory, it shouldn't matter. We aren't in an old sexist world anymore. But I think some guys do get put off by it!!

My name is prudegirl cause I had a post earlier about how I cuddle a lot but haven't actually had sex in a long time. I've been meeting a lot of new guys lately, and I don't wanna have sex with all of them, but it's hard to choose just one, so I just haven't done anything below the belt with any of them.

The Leo guy I am into though, used to be all over me every time we bumped into each other. Then one night we just cuddled and made out. I told him I didn't know him well enough to do anything else with him. Since then, I haven't seen him around much. We never texted much so I wasn't sure if I should initiate anything, cause I would like to go further with this and see what happens! So I wonder what type of text message I would send to that guy? I almost feel like he won't respond unless I just explicitly said HEY LETS TREETRUNK!

IME guys get put off by women initially chasing them though they rarely admit to this, they get even more put off though by women whom they are dating who don't reciprocate and leave all the work to them.

If he was into you and then wasn't after you made out then its quite likely he was looking for one thing only. And if you feel like he will only respond to an invitation to fuck then why waste time on him.

I thought from your initial post that you two had dated, now it sounds like you haven't? More like you just bump into him and he tries for a bit of skirt - had that with an Aries man, so transparent its funny.
