Yup like that with my Libra mate. But...my mate also seems to have moments where he has ALOT to say. He can go on and on and on...and if I am not paying attention - Yikes!.

So how I do is I respond back short, sweet, simple and keep it moving. I usually multi-task it. LOL!!

In the middle of the conversation, my mind starts wandering around, and when it comes back to my head the person whom I was "talking" is already finisht his/her talk. Bullshit...we love to talk...and i'm an awesome conversationalist, this has nothing to do with the sun sign, this is ALL about the mercury, how you communicate...I'm telling you, he has a mercury in an earth sign...earth sign mercuries are people who listen more, or they're more internal..and just don't know how to say the right words. He probably thinks on his end that he's showing that he cares by actually communicating with her, and wondering how she's doing but he doesn't know of the right words to say so he just does the small talk shit...he could ALSO have a mercury in retrograde..but I just feel realy, realy sure that he has a merc in a capricorn because I've known someone that did the same thing.

I get that, I'm the same way too, my mercury is also in libra, it's just that what you are describing isn't what that guy in the OP was doing.

A typical libra can carry a convo and we can listen to a convo..we would not initate a conversation and then expect someone to carry a conversation. We wouldn't respond with one word answers...that isn't typical. Unless we really didn't like the person, and we wanted to get rid of them, but if that was the case, why would we start the conversation?

That's why I'm sure his merc is in an earth sign..

Mercury in Libra here as well. This is how I am and I'll add that it depends on the people I'm carrying on a conversation with. A lot of it for me depends on a persons vibe/energy.
