My damaged Libra

My ex Libra and I have broken up so many times. I have gotten so mad at him and told him to never contact me again. It never lasts long though. It's like without him I feel so empty. I see him and then just fall to pieces all over agian. Why? Why can't I just hate him for a while? He does the same thing. He tells me he's not gonna call me for a few days to let me cool off and what do ya know ... he'll call the next morning. Even when we get off the phone he'll tell me to call him later If I wan't and then when I don't he'll call me.

Anyway ... he has been holding back this whole time. Why? I don't know. he says he loves me, but he is scared. This sounds like an excuse to me, but apert of me wants to believe him. I HAVE seen a softer side of him, although he hardly ever shows it. And Libra's want to be with you all the time right? Not this one. He rarely made any effort to go and do things. And if he did it was usually me having to come see him. Now the last Libra I dated was the complete opposite. He always had to be with me. We did everything together. Why do you think he is holding back?

He tells me he thinks I'm gonna leave him and fu** him over. I tell him I only want him, but that never seems good enough. All his friends hit on me and will make their little peverted comments (not knowing I'm his ex). I know that makes him jealous. Being a libra I always have men around me. I don't do it on purpose but It just kinda happens that way. When we go out I make an effort to come and talk to him and ask him to dance. He never asks me.

The other weekend he whispered something in my ear which kinda freaked me out but was kinda sweet. He told me he was gonna marry me oneday. I didn't really know what to say. I just smiled and went on talking to my friends.

If he is really crazy about me why can't he just open up and be sweet. Why does he have to play all these stupid games. I have asked him if he wants to go do something and he'll say I can't cause I'm packing for work. WTF kinda excuse is that? Is he trying to test me or something? When we broke up I went on a few dates and kissed 2 men. I told him that and he told me I wasn't acting like a lady. That pissed me off! I told him that it's okay for him to sleep around but if I kiss someone I'm not a lady? I told him to stop being a hypocrite!! Hence I'm still a virgin and he know that. I can't make him give me the effection I need. When I don't get what I need (libras need all that emotionally stuff) I tend to look elsewhere. I have never cheated on anyone, but then again my relationships were in highschool. He is my 1st boyfiend in 2 years.

I just don't know what to do with him. I know he can be sweet and romantic, and that he is just choosing not to. I feel like I have to work hrder to prove my love for him since he was burned before. How do I know if he's worth it? Worth all this confussion and pain? Will he ever change? How can I get him to open up to me?

Oh did I mention he jumps to conclusions all the time? like If I don't answer my phone right away he thinks I'm with a guy. Seriously? Grow up!! Do you think it's cause he's the one cheating? Or cause he's insecure?

Someone once told me that you can't rush a man to commit. So I'm not. I'm not gonna tell him my feelings or show him any affection. I'm going to be emotionally uninvolved. Be nice to him, answer his calls, but no more "I miss you" or "You wanna come over" or even going out to the same places where he knows I hang out. I'm gonna hang lose and do my own thing these next couple of weeks. Hang out with differnet friends. I want him to show up their and wonder where I am. If he asks I'm gonna just tell him that i don't know what I'm gonna do yet or just tell him I may come out there for a little while.

Does that sound good? Any thoughts?

Certainly, he shouldn't have said you aren't a lady .. however, what kind of a repsonse did you really expect by telling him that you kissed other people?

If you were broken up when this happened, it is no business of his .. yet, you felt compelled to tell him.

Why?

Especially when you already know that he has a fear of you screwing him over by being with another man.

I'm uncertain why anybody plays stupid games of trying to make each other jealous .. it leads to looking for superficial attention rather than a heart-felt relationship built around trust.

He will probably ask to be in a relationship with you when he is ready and change the status of your relationship from being his ex-girlfriend to his girlfriend.

I think he is a very confused libra. I know he likes me but for some reason is holding back. These last few days I have been very distant, friendly with conversation, but as far as emotionally ... EMPTY. No I miss you's like I normally tell him or anything. I have noticed to by me doing this I have really just relaxed and found me being myself instead of worrying about if he is gonna like me or not. Why do you think this is?

I have a date tomorrow and a date next week with one of his friends. Oh and last night on the phone he asked me if I knew one of his friends. His name is B.J. I said yes but not on a personal basis. Well we danced a couple of times last saterday and I caught him looking at me ... which most of libra's friends like me. Anyway he was like "He thinks your cute. What do you think about that?" I said that he was kinda young for me. He said ya plus he is fixing to move off for college ... it wouldn't work anyway. It was like he make the decision up for me. What's up with that? Why would he ask anyway? It most bother him to have his friends talk about me to him like that. See alot of them don't know we dated so they don't think he knows me. It's gotta piss him off.

My libra FWB after him did the same way after we were no longer involved. Still does from time to time. Doesn't mean they want to be in a relationship with you. Librans will always continue to pop up they hate losing people in general. They won't stop unless you stop it.

Because you really want to be back together with him but you aren't sure if it will be reciprocated.

Why would you do that knowing you want him not his friend. Not a good idea to try and make him jealous by going out with his friend. This can backfire.


I think you are afraid to just let him know how you feel and ask him. "Are we going to do this or what?" Because you are afraid of what his answer might be, but he will keep stringing you along if you don't put a status to whatever this is going on between the two of you.

Making conversation and possibly trying to keep you interested. No real intent. Don't take it as such. As long as he think he can string you along he will.
