Ok, I'll confess. When Star Wars came out, and in fact,every time a new installment comes out... I'm try the Jedi grab objects thing.

For someday the aliens from planet Vorlon will return, and anonomousily grant us all telekinetic powers. And I shall be the FIRST to know.. as I still occasionally try it out.

Gwen, is this facial, postural, etc, reading or actual mental impressions? I'd settle for that, for me, meaning. I do believe some people are more adept at sizing, reading, judging, .. etc, than others. Can you say it's actually helped you any, steered you away from negative types, etc?

yeah. i a girl is mean and she's always been even when everyone liked her. i just have not to get caught up in other's emtions instead of mine. ehcih i need to know. but yeah.

i think it is both. I mean I am judgemental and friends and family have told me so, but I am aware of my prejudgement and I can't remember a single time when my first impressions have been wrong. I think it has helped not in preventing falling into the wrong crowd but in finding more people I know I can become friends with because my instinct is that I can really get to like them. I'll have to mull this over for a while, i'll get back to you again about this.

I can only guess at people, and if wishing to meet a compatible plutonic type, I'd try book stores and new age shoppes. Unfortunately, our one and only store of that kind just shut down. Hmm. Mebbe coffee shops now,eh?
