i want so much too much way way too much but you know the saying you can't have everything you want but you can still keep on wanting and wanting so when is it too much when do your desires become you and you become your desires why can't you have everything you want why are the selfish things you want becoming increasingly more important than the unselfish ones everyone wants world peace i can't believe that no one wants it but yet we have war for lighter ad more transient reasons than we want peace why why why

why can't you get what you want? why can't you want things that can never happen? wh y people push you towards wanting things the average person can get (and thereby dooming you to mediocrity)?

Hmm....mediocrity, like most things, is defined differently by every person. For example, some might see mediocrity as never striving for personal success, just doing "little bits" here and there to "help the world", while never advancing your own position in it. A lot of power to change the world can be gained by so-called selfish pursuits like personal career advancement, acquisition (sp?) of wealth, etc. So you might say that you can't be benevolent and giving and unselfish without first propelling your own self "up" to be in a position to do so.

If that makes sense.

And there is absolutly nothing wrong with wanting. Wanting is healthy and natural. If you didn't want anything you'd have no initiative and no reason and be terribly depressed. Even people who are completely content and at peace tend to WANT to stay content and at peace.
