! I know, it's just in my course i need to get consistently good results in order to continue with further education. If i don't get the results, i don't get into other accredited courses, so something like this, one bad result, can lead to the demise of my entire career! Am i being a drama queen? Maybe this is not in the 'grand plan' for me. It's funny how the Universe always dishes out what we don't expect isn't it.

Oh anyway, blahhh. As a friend of mine says, "you've got your hands, you've got your legs etc... You've got your health". She's right. Control freak me 😉

Anyhoo, next year i am going to put in a good run. Make the home stretch a good one...

Lawgoddess, does holding a degree REALLY help you with getting a job? Or does work experience count too? I know that with law the degree is the most important part.

*runs up to Libragirl frantically...

Here's my vote of confidence!! lol - I meant to post on this thread sooner but forgot before logging out.

It is absolutely okay to not do well all the time. What fun would the glory of being great at something hold if we never did poorly at anything? Einstein got a D in math...or something like that...and "just look" at what happened with Him. 😛

I guess getting a job depends on placements or positions available at the time compared to the number of ppl looking for work in that area.

I know with law, if you are an honours student basically u are offered work before u finish the course. For the rest of us, it is a hard slog just to secure something, and if you are lucky, to get something in the area u want.

It would depend on the employer as to whether they were satisfied that you have a degree or whether they look at your transcripts. It's a freakin tough world out there. And I believe it is more difficult for women in the legal field than men to obtain work, b/c law is STILL considered a 'man's domain.'
