Breaking Up

Where and how is the best place/way to break up with somebody?

hmmm...I would have to say in an out doors cafe at twighlight hours...its secluded enough that you can still have a spat but public enough so that person won't go hog-wild on you

I think the best way to break up is by doing what my cousin did with her partner of 3 yrs and that is to hold a 'breaking up' party. Invite all your friends, have a great time, and part as friends rather than enemies.

It depends on how mean you or the outher person is. From some of the post I have read long distance seems the best way after you move out of the country call them to let them know. come around in 5 to 10 years to see how it is going.

But they haven't been seeing eachother a lot lately... Theyv'e mostly been communicating over the phone... Would that justify a phone break up?

LOL...too funny! Yes Morgan, a phone break up would be sufficient, and if they are friends as you say, a discussion of issues prior to the actual words 'break up' would be a good lead in.

Yeah... Just asking because my friend told me he was braking up with his gf and wanted me to come up with a good idea on how he should do it... No... Actually he just wanted me to quell that guilty feeling he was having... I told him I was probably the worst possible person to come to for that. 😛 Then through some clever manipulation of words I found out that he didn't really mind that much when I broke up with him (a while ago), which is really annoying because at the time he made a huge fuss about it (although you'd think he'd be used it... it's the second time I broke up with him) and refused to speak to me for about three months. He seems to have fully forgiven me now...

lol so its the pisces and the redhead...I was trying to figure that out. In that case, ignore my aforementioned advice and tell him to just get it over with or he'll be too scared or timid to get it done.

Well he did it... LOL... Over the phone, he said it went a lot better than he thought it would... He talked to me before he did it, and then agian after... I wonder if he talks to anyone else about his personal life, or is it just me? I feel I have two younger brothers.
