By leaving the kids and hubby at home, going to Cortica's house, sitting on her balcony that overlooks her lake and natural bushland setting, drinking wine and eating puppodums, and chatting about nothing and everything. :-)

oh too bad...everyone here just goes to teh pub or the Beirgarten (beer garden) to get drunk. The head of our international program is going to have an anuerism from the stress and she is always at our dorm's beer club. And if you flirt at the bartenders in Berlin, they will constantly refill your drink for you for free.

don't worry morgan I'll bring you back some chocolate

In order for me to actually relax, I have to get so stressed out that I'm in a rage, pissed off at everyone for stressing me out...and then I think "treetrunk you, treetrunk you also, and treetrunk you too. I'm relaxing now". Sometimes, even that doesn't work.

when i feel stressed and or anxious i go to the beach and walk along the surf, play on the large driftwood that is piled all over, sometimes i build forts with the driftwood, alot of the time i search for agates to bring home and polish, and sometimes i find a good spot to sit and watch out over the water and just let my mind wander.

i always feel centered and relaxed by the time i get home.

Sometimes sitting in a tree looking at the 3 mountains that ring the little hill my house is on works too. The stupid police put an ugly looking radar tower up on Blue Job though.

I live in the middle of nature but I can't appreciate for the frear of lyme desease... The area where I live you have the highest chance in the entire country to get bitten by a lyme tick... My entire family has had it, at least once... I've given up on nature... The ocean relaxes me... But I don't live near the ocean...

It's one of my life ambitions to camp out on the beach. Just go randomly spend a night at the ocean. I live about an hour and a half drive away, too, it's a wonder why I haven't already until you meet my parents. They're very practical. Thank goodness fall semester starts in 20 days.

lol... that would be a lot of fun, to camp out on the beach... I've never done that, but I've come close. In Connecticut, there's a state park on the sound, and I had the first tent space before you got to the beach... I was only twenty feet away.
