Different countries

Before coming on this site my view, mainly of America, was completely different to how it is now. I am planning to do a round the world trip next year and i am glad I have read what I have here, as I would have been in for a MAJOR shock! Just wondering if anyone else had their view of a country changed by reading what people who live there have posted?

Here in England we have it drummed into us basically that America is everything that England should be. But from what I have read on this board, I prefer the way things are here.

I am still looking forward to going to America but I am glad I will no longer be going with this view I am going to some magical land, its just like england with more people who seem to have more problems with eachother.

Maybe they will be nice to me because of my accent 🙂

We have plenty of "the Americans" that the rest of the world thinks we all are, we just don't let them near computer unless it's pictures of them... we like to mock them too.

England is pretty boring and uptight compared to some countries, but apparantly its because we all work too much and dont have enough holidays, im sure I heard there meant to be making up more public holidays for us lol.

I like pale guys so its all good for me haha

@PP Yes most guys here have a foreskin lol I remember there being a jewish guy in my class who was laughed at for being circumcized! His girlfriend told everyone because she thought there was something wrong with it lol

Yes! Mostly that people in London are grumpy!

They are so rude! typically England gets friendlier the more up North you go. I live in the Midlands so im just normal, but if you go up North they are the type who will invite you to stay at their house because you missed the last bus and was standing in the rain lol

Ewww really— I'd be so weirded out if I saw a guy who wasn't circumsized lol But I know it's not exactly the norm in most countries, either!

I've never seen a circumcized guy, but like emotional moon said, I have been told the sex is better with an uncircumcized guy.

The Newcastle accent "geordie" is impossible! Im English and I dont understand haha. "scouser" Liverpool accent is almost as hard.
