Last week I was confused as to what car I should buy. I was conflicted over a sedan (camry) or an suv (rav4). So I asked some friends on their opinions and a few friends are so anal about hybrid car. They said I should get a hybrid car because etc, etc, etc. Well...I'm sure hybrid cars are great but I'm not interested in a hybrid car. When I said financially, I just can't afford it. Then they said, well...if you can afford a rav4 then you can afford a small hybrid. How do I even tell them that I don't even like hybrid without them trying to defend themselves and their choices. Ugh! It's like they are answering a question that doesn't exist and ignoring my question in the first place. Ugh!

The point is do you ever just want to ask someone something so simple and they make it so difficult that you would think it's better if you don't ask.

This was my primary question from mid 2010 to mid 2011. I saw that made no exception. Everywhere I saw the same behavior.

I thought and thought, asked and asked, and I came to this conclusion:

1. I am begging them for their time, energy and thoughts.

2. They don't owe me a thing.

3. My question evokes some thoughts in their head. They are actually handling that as their own issue.

4. Even if I assume they were stubborn, cause I told them stay at the original question, still they have no obligation to follow me.

5. And cause I cannot get mad and intimidate them, they continue being so. My Virgo-Scorpio sis can intimidate people so they behave correctly.

Moral of the story? Shout at them.

In the end, I go with Rav4. It was love at first sight. 😄

Agreed. I should just "shout at them" and "be direct". Believe me, that IS what I want to do. But Mars in Libra is a bitch man. That libra mars with virgo venus sharing the 1st house with libra mercury which resulted in me always be an "oh so nice" ALL the freaking time. It's annoying!!! I often roar within which resulted in swollen thyroid. 😭
