F-ed up endings?

When I watched End of Evangelion I honestly thought "Damn that was fucked up". It was better than the original ending but still it implied everything is dead and there's nothing left now, life will come back whenever everyone decides to come back. Then Rebuild pops and now I'd be psyched for Evangelion 4.0. Maybe it'll give a better ending that'll be a little less gloomy and doomy. Speaking of F-ed endings- Do you love em or hate em?

Yeah. Especially that thing with Shinji. Really dude? Was that entirely necessary? There are plenty of other good looking women out there and you chose the angry german lol. But yes, I'm liking Rebuild much more then NGE
