This Seahawks defense looks ferocious with arguably the best playmaking corner (Richard Sherman) and best safety in football (Cam Chancellor). The rest of the defense is flying around and Russell Wilson has had a knack for making plays since his college days. This defense is historically great and is statistically comparable to the '85 Bears, which is considered the best defense of all time. This doesn't bode well for a somewhat immobile Aaron Rodgers.

In the other game, This is the best New England team in the past few seasons. The defense, especially the secondary, has been revamped. A healthy Gronkowski can't be covered by anyone save perhaps the Seahawks and Brady is Brady. Belichick will outcoach his counterpart. The Colts running game is fairly lackluster and being a one dimensional passing team will play into the Patriots gameplan. The Broncos win was more about Peyton Manning not being able to throw the ball for longer than ten yards with any zip on it. The Colts defense won't have any luck stopping a Patriots offense that scored 42 points on them in the regular season.

Pats-Seahawks Superbowl

🙂 Nice recap there ^^ My pick is Patriots (son's favorite) all the way...but I also don't want to count chickens just yet.. Should these two go to Superbowl, it will make for one hell of a game imo. Green Bay has always been my secondary favorite to the NY Giants...however, I think next year may be their year if the key players remain in tact.

lol...now this is hilarious "DEFLATEGATE"

NFL looking into Pats' possible use of deflated balls

The New England Patriots find themselves amidst another controversy following their 45-7 pummeling of the Indianapolis Colts.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, via NFL spokesman Michael Signora, that the league is looking into the apparent use of overly deflated footballs by the Patriots during their win.

Midway through the game, a ball was taken off the field and out of circulation, Signora told Rapoport.

WTHR-TV's Bob Kravitz first reported the news Sunday night.

Per the NFL rulebook, game balls must be inflated with between 12.5-13.5 pounds of air. Each team must provide 12 primary balls for testing prior to the game.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady dismissed the "ridiculous" reports during his Monday morning appearance on WEEI-FM.

"I think I've heard it all at this point," Brady laughed. "That's the last of my worries. I don't even respond to stuff like this."

Deflating balls is presumably done to increase grip. The most recent ball deflating news came from the college-level at USC in 2012 -- then under Lane Kiffin's watch -- when a student manager was dismissed after it was alleged he deflated balls during a contest.

Kravitz reported that if the NFL confirms deflated footballs were used to gain an advantage, it could cost the Patriots draft picks. In 2008 the Pats were heavily fined and docked a first-round draft pick for what is now known as "SpyGate."

In advance of Super Bowl XLIX, there will be plenty talk about "DeflateGate."

Green Bay game (cuz it was) was unbelievably insane!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was floored how the Seahawks came back and won it. 😢

One thing is for sure...if the Seahawks think they can get away with that against the Patriots..they may think again. Not happening.

I am pleased however that these two are in the Superbowl, well deserved.

PATRIOTS ALL THE WAY 😉

When the Seahawk defense is on, they can neutralize anybody.

Here's hoping that they are on for the Super Bowl.

I hate New England.
