This is not an entirely facetious comment. For better or worse, it can't have gone entirely unnoticed by you that those who exhibit the traits you pilloried tend to garner rather more attention than those who come across as collected and intelligent. Which is a shame, because I've noticed a fair number who intentionally dumb down their public persona so as not to reveal their true self.
