How do you upload a profile picture?

And actual profile picture not just an image. I uploaded one image expecting it would be my profile picture but it wasn't. How do I get it to be my profile pic?

Erica, I think it's an issue with this site because the same thing happened to me. I think I was finally able to post an image. Guess we will see with this post. If not, guess it's still not working....I dunno. You may just have to keep trying from time to time. Good Luck
